Each section of the roadmap has an associated video in my YouTube playlist and every trophy as well as every
collectable either has its own timestamp or video. If you prefer to watch the videos instead of reading the

Tutorial - Lara's Home
Lara's home serves as a short introduction to the game and we can unlock three trophies there.
Ready to Raid!
Finish the assault course in 1:20 or less
The assault course is right in front of us when we start Lara's Home, and stepping onto
the wooden steps will start the timer. The path is pretty straightforward. But be careful, as touching the
sand or concrete walkways on the sides will stop the timer. Same goes for touching the top of the brick tunnel
where we need to dive. If that
happens, we'll need to run back to the start and try again.
Crime and Punishment
Lure the butler into the fridge, wait for him to make a bad sound and lock him in there
We need to make our way around to the front of the mansion, enter, and wait for the
butler to slowly follow us. Passing under the archways and into the kitchen.
On the left side, there's a button to open the freezer. Lure him inside by moving around until he follows.
Once he's in, keep jumping into him, and eventually, he should make his bad sound. As soon as that happens, run
outside and press the button again to lock him in.
Delivery People Have Finally Arrived
Check out your treasury
Past the front door and beyond the fish fountain, there's a large hedge maze. Our goal
is to head in and keep left, making our way to the closer left corner,
then up to the farthest left corner. A bit further in, toward the middle of the maze, we'll find a hole
leading to a dark tunnel. Heading through and climbing out, we'll find some flares.
We need to hit the switch (pressing the Look button will skip the short cutscene) and then quickly make our
way back
through the maze, enter the front door, and reach the timed door under the archway on the right. Heading down
the stairs will lead us
to the treasury.
Level 1 - The Great Wall
The Great Wall gives you a good insight in what to expect throughout the game. It's much darker than Tomb
Raider 1, the traps can kill you quickly and finding all 3 secrets often award you with some good stuff.
Crane Dive
Dive to a lake from the top of the guardhouse
After opening the door to the outside area where the crows are, take them out and run
to the other side, where the door and keyhole are located. Once at the door, climb the right side to
find a green path with some slopes. Carefully jump onto
the path, while avoiding the slopes to prevent sliding down. Following the green path around the area with the
lake,
make your way up to the first Guardhouse. This is also the perfect opportunity for
10/10 &
20/10.
To do this, walk slowly to the edge near the lake, take a run-up, then perform a
running jump with a swan dive. During the dive, quickly press

multiple times to perform a
somersault or even a double somersault.

I'm Not Climbing the Walls for This
Do not use the ledge, but take no damage from the flying blades in The Great Wall
Saving is our best friend for this. First, position Lara as far to
the left and as close to the first row of shooting blades as possible, then save.
To pass the blades safely, wait for the special sound and the spark hitting the wall in front of us. This
signals the right moment to move forward quickly. If you make it through without taking damage, save again and
repeat this process for each row.
Once we reach the last set of blades, the water will be deep enough for us to tread instead of wade. At this
point, we can dive underwater and swim all the way to the bottom. Then move forward and to the right. Pull up
at the end, the trophy should unlock as we step forward into the next area.
Extinct Is Extinct
Defeat both T-Rexes with no evidence
To attempt this we need to collect all 3 secrets. Make sure to make a manual save if
you're working on Very Hard Boiled.
From inside the alcove of the golden dragon, the T-Rexes can't hurt us. Slowly reduce their health using the
pistols. When
their health bar is very low, switch to the grenade launcher to deliver the killing blow. We'll know we did
it correctly if the T-Rex explodes into pieces instead of just falling over.
Repeat this process for the second T-Rex.

Finish The Great Wall chapter
Story-related, pops right after finishing the first level.
Level 2 - Venice
Venice is the first of three connected levels. It is
also recommended to start working on No Time for the Plague. So don't let any rat bite you.
Emergency Exit
Break any window with yourself in a jump
To get this trophy we can use the very first window we encounter after climbing the stairs
of the first boathouse. It can easily be broken by jumping forward through it.
Cooler Than Moonraker
Jump from a boat to another boat, making the first one blow up on mines
We need to take the first boat we encounter and ride it to the end of the
level. When we reach the path leading to the mines, leave it on one side in front of the mines and get out. Near
the mines, is the second boat, take out the guard to take it and drive it toward the mines.
As we approach the spot where we left the first boat, hold and press the direction towards it. If timed
correctly, Lara will leap and land
directly into the seat of the first boat. The trophy can also unlock if you just jump into the water, which
means it's glitched in a good way.
Let's Saddle Up
Jump into the boat from the highest height possible
After obtaining the boathouse key, we unlock the boathouse and move the boat, leaving it
somewhere near the pole outside.
Next, we head up to the area with the awnings, where we have to use the switch to open the gate to progress
through the
level. Here, it is recommended to save the game before attempting the jump so you don't need to climb back up
again every try.
From this spot, jump towards the boat, aiming to land directly in the seat.
I'm Not Your Tourist
Finish the Venice level without ever getting on a boat
Progress through the level until we reach the final switch that opens the exit.
Normally, we would use the boat to jump through the window in this room and race back through the exit doors
before they shut in about 30 seconds.
However, for this trophy, we won't make it back in time using the usual method. Instead, swim under the
partially submerged door we used to enter the room with the button. This allows us to reach the exit door
with no time limit. The mines won't trigger while we're swimming.
Level 3 - Bartoli's Hideout
Bartoli's Hideout is the second level of Venice. Again, like in
Venice don't let any rat bite you to earn No Time for the Plague at the end of Opera House.
Moving Doesn't Change Who You Are
Obtain library key without moving chandeliers
After making it through the flame trap hallway, we enter the ballroom with three
chandeliers. Jump onto the lowest chandelier.
Perform a running jump to the middle chandelier.
From here, take another running jump to the wooden platform on the right to use the switch.
Get back to the middle chandelier and from there to the highest chandelier.
Perform a running jump and hold Action in the air to land safely on the ledge above the alcove we just opened.
Run backwards and hold Action to grab the ledge.
Continue falling while holding Action to grab the ledge below. The trophy pops after picking up the key.
Bartoli Stash
Get hidden Uzis in the boathouse
You'll unlock this automatically while going for Souvenirs From Around the Globe.
After climbing out of the highest window of one of the library wings, we need to slide backwards and grab
the ledge of the red awning. From there, climb up and immediately backflip onto the stone balcony.
Next, perform a running jump to the tiled awning followed by another jump to reach the brick
wall.
From there move all the way to the right end of the wall, making sure to stand back from the very
edge. From here, line up a running jump to the left and grab the boathouse roof.
From that roof, traverse to the other side and perform a diagonal running jump
onto the smaller brick wall. Drop down into the dark alcove to find the Uzis.
Pollen Allergy
Don't move the flower block in Bartoli's Hideout
There is a flower block in the room with the 3 mechanical statues raising and lowering
their swords. As long as we don't touch it, the trophy will pop on the result screen of the level.
Level 4 - Opera House
Opera House is the third and final level of the Venice chapter. Once again, don't get hurt by rats. If you
fended them off throughout all Venice levels you'll get No Time for the Plague at the end of this level.
Like Father Like Son
Shine a light on Gianni Bartoli
From the start of the level, jump down in the water and take out the enemy below
using your pistols. Directly across from where the guard was, there will be a poster of Gianni Bartoli. Swim
over there, climb up, and light a flare near the poster.
With Respect for Cultural Heritage
Cross the broken roof by dropping only three wooden panels in Opera House
Immediately after using the Ornate Key, we reach a rooftop full of breakable
tiles. To earn this, we are only allowed to step on three panels while traversing the rooftop.
Make a manual save and carefully plan each jump. If you
misstep, you can reload the save and try again.
Gold Digger
Take the golden one before the rest of the secret dragons in Opera House
Upon reaching the large dome roof of the opera house, we fight off a total of six enemies.
From the entry point, look down to the right. There is a pit leading to a floor covered in glass shards.
Position yourself next to the right side of this pit, just above the Uzi clips. Make a manual save if you
haven't collected all items on the roof before attempting this.
Drop down backwards and grab the ledge.
Pull yourself up again, step back off the ledge, press Action, but immediately let go instead of holding it.
Lara should drop and slightly maneuver forward, landing near the Uzi clips.
Now, turn around and walk carefully through the shards to grab the Golden Dragon.
Fight off the B's
Break all the windows with your enemy's initials
Scattered across the level are 9 windows featuring a "B" design, spread across 3 locations
within the level. You'll come across all locations through normal story progression, make sure to break all of
them to get the trophy.

Collect all secrets in Venice levels
Unlocks automatically while going for Souvenirs From Around the Globe.
No Time for the Plague
Don't let the rats bite you
Throughout the all three Venice levels, there are
several rats that we need to defeat before they bite us.
They usually appear alone and we don't have to take all of them out. Just take no damage from them.
If done correctly, the trophy should pop together with Via Caravelli, Venice!.

Story-related. Unlocks after finishing Opera House.
Level 5 - Offshore Rig
After getting hit in the head Lara wakes up without her weapons on a rig. Getting your pistols back in a specific
way will net us our first trophy of this level. With them back in our inventory we can fight our way to the
Diving Area.
Don't Even Need to Wet My Feet
Stay out of the water before you get your guns back in Offshore Rig
Leave the cell and head down the walkway. Run up the ramp and jump over the rolling
barrels. Enter the control room and roll against the window. Lara should glitch right through it.
From there head onto the walkway and perform an angled running jump to the plane. Once on it, make your way to
the trap door and drop down to collect the pistols.
In a Rush
Do not remove either of the two blocks from the wall near the fire area
After climbing out of the trapdoor in the bunk room, we proceed to the end of the
passage and slide backwards down the slope to grab the ledge. Drop down into the room below. After that position
yourself in front of the wall with the movable blocks. Walk two steps forward, make a running jump over the
burners and climb the ladder.
Level 6 - Diving Area
Diving Area is the final level of the Offshore Rig chapter. It is also the first level where we need to work on
Fire Safety. If you want to save some medipacks make a save before every flamethrower guy, let them set you
on
fire, extinguish yourself and reload. It'll still count for the trophy.
Anger Management
Have Lara get so mad about missing the helicopter that she explodes in a jump
About midway thorugh the level we'll eventually open the door
to a helipad. Upon entering we have to take care of three thugs, the helicopter will leave regardless.
After getting rid of them we need to perform the
Exploding Lara cheat on the helicopter platform with the
following combination to
pop the trophy.
- Step forward
- Step back
- Circle around three times (doens't matter if anti-clockwise or not)
- Jump forward
The True Dettox of Evil

Level 7 - 40 Fathoms
40 Fathoms is the start of the Maria Doria chapter which consists of four levels. Throughout those four levels
we need to work on No Fish Soup Today. For this trophy we're not allowed to hurt sharks and sharks must not
hurt us. You come across three sharks in this level. Two before you enter the shipwreck
and one in the area of the Jade Dragon. Apart from that there is only one trophy to look out for.
Like Caesar
Go through the water shaft in one breath with a gold dragon in your backpack
After dealing with the timed fire area, we'll get to a water section that requires pulling
a lever at the top of the area, diving back down to use another lever and diving back up to get out of the
water.
The golden dragon is in an alcove next to the lower lever. Just pick it up before going back to the top. There
isn't much room for error but once you know the path it's easy enough.
Level 8 - Wreck of the Maria Doria
The Wreck of Maria Doria is the second level of the Maria Doria chapter. Again we have to
watch out for two sharks to get No Fish Soup Today at the end of the entire chapter. The only trophy that
is especially tied to
this level can be earned right at the end.
Nervous Wreck
Finish Wreck of the Maria Doria level by swan diving into the water and swimming to
the end in one breath without taking damage
Before diving swan diving into the water to finish this level, it is recommended to take
out the scuba diver. Sometimes it's possible that the second scuba diver appears before you
enter the water. Taking care of him makes the trophy a little easier. But if you make a save right before swan
diving into the
water he shouldn't be much of a challenge anyway. The moray eels along the way are a little bit trickier. Dive
below them, so
they have a much lower chance to bite you.
Level 9 - Living Quarters
Living Quarters is the third level of the Maria Doria chapter and doesn't have any sharks in it. But we can
earn two new trophies in pretty close succession during this level. Enjoy this shorter level before heading to
The Deck
Attentiveness Rewarded
Find a shortcut to avoid entering a room with two levers and moving a block on a blue
duct in Living Quarters
About halfway through this level we need to advance through an underwater area with two
scuba divers and pull a lever to activate a trapdoor that leads into the next area. After getting through the
trap door, take out the thug and climb directly to the exit. Jump up to metal grates, turn right to get to the
upper platform and perform a running to the wooden area.
No Unnecessary Moves
Do not break the floor panel to get the gold secret in Living Quarters
Right after unlocking Attentiveness Rewarded we find ourselves in a wooden hallway.
Take care of the appearing enemies and take the right path at the little intersection. After getting rid of the
wrench guy you should notice the golden dragon with the deadly shards in front of it. Now stand at the ledge
next to the broken wall, while facing the Dragon. Move back a full step to have Lara with her back against the
wall,
and jump forward while holding Action. Lara should land right at the dragon and the trophy pops after picking it
up.
Level 10 - The Deck
The Deck is the fourth and final level of the Maria Doria chapter. Right at the start you have an opportunity to
go for 10/10 and 20/10 if you haven't done it yet. If you want to work on Fire Safety I
highly recommend reloading everytime you extinguished yourself. Otherwise it'll cost a lot of your medipacks. To
make the third
flamethrower guy (next to the pool with the Gold Dragon) appear, jump across the corner of the pool.
Another thing to look out for are the three sharks after collecting the Cabin Key. If you avoid them, you'll earn
No Fish Soup Today after collecting the seraph.
A Land Walk
Get the cabin key from the inflatable raft without swimming in the underground lake
At some point we have to drain a room of its water which allows us to descend to an
underground lake through it. To get this trophy we need to climb along the right side of this lake and across
the backside to reach a cave opening. The cave has a rather straightforward path to move along until we get to
hole right above the raft. Before dropping down while hanging from the ledge, make sure Lara has a completely
filled health bar.

No Fish Soup Today
Don't hurt the sharks, but don't let them bite you either
There are a total of 8 sharks. 3 in 40 Fathoms, 2 in The Wreck of Maria
Doria and 3 in The Deck that appear right after picking up the Cabin Key. Don't hurt them, avoid
to get bitten by them and the trophy pops on the result screen together with We Are Searching the Right
Place.

Level 11 - Tibetan Foothills
Welcome to the start of the Tibet chapter. Enemies will be way more resilient than those we faced so far and
we have to fight them in larger groups at some points. This level offers four different trophies and we should
start working on Public Service as well. For this trophy you have to trigger all sets of icicles
throughout
the entire chapter. Tibetan Foothills has the first 8 of 19 sets.
Who's the Cat and Who's the Mouse
Find the hidden snow leopard
At the very beginning of the level, we'll reach a valley with two piles of
snowballs at the far end. Drop into this valley and jump over the first set of rolling snowballs as they come
down the hill.
Once the danger has passed, head down the hill until you spot an ice wall on the right. This wall can be
broken by using the pistols. Inside is the hidden snow leopard we have to defeat to pop this trophy.
Tibetan Osteopathy
In the first cave of Tibetan Foothills, break the ice wall with your back and survive
Shortly after Who's the Cat and Who's the Mouse we need to climb up into the cave
where the snowballs came from. Once there you'll notice another breakable ice wall. Break this one with a
backflip, immediately after landing perform a spinning backflip and then a jump forward to get to the
climbable wall. Shimmy to the right and move forward to unlock the trophy.
The Tibetan Express
Slip next to the two blocks on the snowmobile
If you want to earn Eco-Friendly in the same playthrough, make a manual save
before climbing onto a snowmobile. The path is pretty straightforward and we have to ride the snowmobile all
the way until it seems like we can't get any further. There you will see a vast opening after a thin ramp,
with two blocks in our way. Our goal is to jump across the ramp and land in the left or right opening next to
these blocks. Holding down the Action button to get a speed boost.
Eco-Friendly
Beat Tibetan Foothills on foot
To unlock this trophy upon finishing the level we are not allowed to ride a snowmobile
at all. Doing the entire level on foot doesn't void Souvenirs From Around The Globe. It takes a lot
longer than the natural way with the snowmobile but it is not too challenging. The most challenging part is
the moment after we pick up the Hut Key. A snowmobile enemy will appear and run Lara over which
instantly kills her. If you are on your Very Hard Boiled playthrough as well, he can absorb a lot of
damage from the pistols, too. But once he is defeated the rest shouldn't pose too many problems.
Level 12 - Barkhang Monastery
Barkhang Monastery is the second level of Tibet, which can be pretty frustrating if you're going for The End
Doesn't Justify the Means by saving all monks. It is luck-based in some parts, but overall very doable,
even if
you want to do it while working on Very Hard Boiled. It is recommended to save often, at least once
before each
enemy encounter and once right after it, if all monks are still alive.
An Unexpected Visit
Do not use the tall ladder to enter the monastery
Right at the beginning we come across a fight between some monks and some enemies. Going
left you'll see a ladder. That's the one we are not allowed to use. Instead make your way to the archway a
little further in the back. Climb over some rocks and follow the path to enter the monastery this way to pop
the trophy.
Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodhi
Light a flare in front of the mystical eyes
During our visit, we will use the Rooftop Key to open a door in a room with two
rolling blade traps. After unlocking the door, we need to head up a flight of stairs to the roof of the
monastery.
Once up there, we'll come across an eye painting directly in front of us, with eyes that move back and forth.
Run up to this painting and use a flare to unlock the trophy.
Per Aspera Ad Astra
Get through the obstacles to the trapdoor key with the jade dragon and no damage
At some point we come across a set of nasty traps, starting with a fire trap. Regular
saves are our best friends while going for this. Wait for the swinging trap to give you an opening to jump
across the fire trap into the gap. If you got in there unharmed, save again. Keep avoiding damage from the
remaining traps and keep in mind that we have to collect the Jade Dragon before the trapdoor key.
The End Doesn't Justify the Means
Prevent the monks from being killed
The first and most important rule for this is: Don't shoot at the monks! They will become
hostile and that makes this trophy basically impossible.
Liked stated in the short overview of the level it is recommended to save regularly. Most fights shouldn't be
a
problem. However there are two encounters that require a good strategy as well as some luck.
One of the prayer wheels is outside of the main building. We get there through the trap door we opened with
the key from Per Aspera Ad Astra. The trapdoor leads to the courtyard with a switch that opens the
double doors next to it. DO NOT use that switch before picking up the prayer wheel.
Otherwise there will be a fight without you.
The second section is the one after passing the golden trapdoor. There we can go up a flight of stairs to a
single window. Going up there spawns four enemies.
Luckily there is a way to cheese this fight a little bit. Just trigger the spawning of all four guys and run
to the door on the lower level.
The enemies won't go that far so you can take them out one-by-one. You'll probably hear some monks screaming
but don't
worry, they can't join the fight as long as the window and the door are closed.
Level 13 - Catacombs of the Talion
Catacombs of the Talion is the third level of Tibet. It's pretty straightforward with a couple of tricky fights
against some groups of enemies. But before facing these groups we can grab two new trophies. In addition to that
we have to work on Public Service again, by triggering all seven sets of icicles throughout the level.
And I Want It Now!
As the snowball moves, manage to get the Tibetan Mask in 25 seconds or less
One of our first tasks in this level is to grab the Tibetan Mask, which is stashed inside
a cage. We can reach it by jumping to the side of the ramp with the rolling snowballs, running across a crumbly
floor, climbing a ladder, pulling a lever, and performing a slide jump off a ramp to pick it up.
We need to complete all of this in less than 25 seconds. The timer for this starts at the moment the snowballs
begin
rolling.
Snowballs Champion
Reach the top of the hill and make it back to the gate before the avalanche
completely
stops at the bottom
Shortly after And I Want It Now! we need to use the Tibetan Mask to open a gate.
That's where we can get this trophy, therefore it's recommended to make a save before using the mask. After the
gate opens, we should immediately perform running jumps all the way up to where the snowballs start. We need to
time our jumps carefully so that we land close to the edge of
the last of snow "tile" in front of the double doors. Try to land there with a flip jump so that Lara can head
back down immediately.
Right after that, we must start doing running jumps back down the hill. If you're fast enough, the trophy
unlocks instantly.
Level 14 - Ice Palace
This is the fourth and final level of the Tibet chapter. The Ice Palace offers up to four trophies, if you
triggered all icicles so far. There is no trophy for collecting all secrets in this
chapter, because "Codex of China" also includes the upcoming levels. Apart from that you will have a boss fight
where you have to collect some items, because as soon as you take down that boss, the level ends. So make sure to
not miss these items. The boss fight itself is ridiculously easy.
Recess Bell
Ring the fourth bell and reach the ladder, stepping on the slides no more than four
times
Early on in this level we need to open a gate by shooting bells. The one in question can
be reached by a single springboard pad in front of a slope. Lara can grab a ledge we need to pull up on. Turn
around and get to the ledge in front of you. Now you should see two slides. Get to left one and grab the ledge,
shimmy all the way to the bell, pull up and perform a backflip while drawing the pistols. Quickly shoot the bell
and make your way back down to the opened gate. The trophy pops once you're at the ladder.
Public Service
Drop all the icicles in the Tibetan levels without being hurt
There are a total of 19 sets of icicles we need to trigger without getting hit. Nine of
them are in Tibetian Foothills. Seven of those are located in the cave after Tibetean Osteopathy
and one set is unmissable
above a switch we need to use after collecting the Drawbrige Key. The next seven are located in Catacombs of
the Talion. Two of those sets are right at the beginning, two more as we progress a little further and
another three sets slightly before picking up the Jade Dragon. The remaining sets are located in Ice
Palace. All sets can be found right after picking up the Gong Hammer, where we have to fight off some
Yetis. Three are at the edge of the water and the final set is in the back left corner of this area.
Better Not Slip Here
Illuminate the deepest chasm
Shortly after collecting the gong hammer we have to survive a couple of snowballs. Once we
did we'll eventually reach an icy chasm. Just like a flare and drop it down into this chasm to unlock this
trophy.
Lara Stamps Out Yeti!!!
Finish Tibet chapter
Story-related. Unlocks automatically after finishing Ice Palace.
Level 15 - Temple of Xian
Brace yourselves for a pretty long and dark level. Temple of Xian is the penultimate level for Codex of
China
and the fourth to last level in general. Regarding Silk Cave, there have been reports of players who didn't
unlock the trophy after clearing the cave, because they got hit by one of the other spiders in this level. So make
sure to take out every spider without getting hit.
Wipeout Master
Pass four swinging obstacles in Temple of Xian without slowing down and getting hurt
About halfway through the level, we will reach a timed door above the area where we first
entered the temple, near the knight statues. Once we make it through the
door, we will enter a corridor with the four swinging obstacles in question, above a narrow walkway.
To earn the trophy, we must pass this trap without stopping after clearing the first obstacle and without
taking any damage.
Silk Cave
Clear the spider cave without a scratch using only Lara's guns
We reach the cave after using the Golden Key. It is incredibly dark in there and to make
things even worse, we are not allowed to use flares. Make a save before entering the cave. We have to take care
of seven small spiders and five bigger ones. It is recommended to do a practice run to get a feel for the
different spawn points and then go for it.
Hero of Reaching Unreachable Supplies
Get unreachable medipack
Unlocks automatically while going for Souvenirs From Around the Globe.
Level 16 - Floating Islands
Floating Islands is the last level containing secrets. In addition to that we can unlock two more trophies
here. No Crazy Golf basically consists of three jumps, but jumping over the roof towards the second slope
can be
a little bit buggy. On Equal Terms requires us to defeat all 8 swordsmen while they have both
feet on the ground. It is perfectly doable if you want to combine it with "Very Hard Boiled", just save right
before and right after every encounter in case you get pushed off a ledge or accidentially shoot at them while
they start levitating.

Do not hurt Xian swordsmen while they are levitating, but eliminate all of them
The level contains 8 swordsmen we need to get rid of. They often push you of the narrow
platforms and they can take a lot of damage from the pistols. Usually you should see and hear them coming from a
long distance. The only critical situation can occur on the golden cage before using the Mystic Plagues. If you
don't take care of the first swordsman fast enough, the second one will join the fight which makes it a lot more
difficult. All of the other ones will be one-on-one fights and shouldn't be too challenging.

No Crazy Golf
Let the green boulders stay where they are
After the fifth swordman for On Equal Terms the normal path would trigger both
boulders. Instead, we need to angle our running jump to land on the rooftop to the left. It's recommended to
save before attempting this. If done correctly, the boulder will remain in place and won't roll down the slope.
To get off the roof, we need to move to the opposite side from where we first climbed up. From there we need to
perform a running jump + Hold to land in the middle of the slope.
Jumping early is the key, otherwise we might either hit the
wall and stop in place or overshoot the jump and fall to our death.
Level 17 - The Dragon's Lair
The Dragon's Lair is the last level for Very Hard Boiled. Once you took down the dragon and finish this
level,
the trophy is finally yours. You can also earn No Grill Today and Fire Safety here. But you have to
do No Grill
Today first, otherwise you have to reload your save. You'll probably earn it while collecting items
underwater or
right after that. To earn Fire Safety you have to meet the pre-requirements in Diving Area and
The Deck.
No Grill Today
Make the dragon breathe fire on you five times during the final battle, but do not
ignite
This trophy should unlock almost automatically while fighting the dragon with pistols.
Just hide behind one of the pillars and time your sideflips properly so that the dragon won't hit you. It could
also already pop while you're collecting every item under water.
Fire Safety
Catch fire from every possible enemy and extinguish it in the water
If you made it here and got ignited by all three flamethrower enemies in Diving
Area and all five in The Deck this shouldn't take long. But make sure to get No Grill Today
first. The opponents are pretty much unmissable but the hardest is at the end of The Deck, where we have
to fight againt two of them at once. They both have to ignite Lara but you can't tell which one already did so
you have to take one of them out while being on fire.
Very Hard Boiled
Beat the game using only Lara's pistols
Other than in Tomb Raider 1 and Tomb Raider 3 we are allowed to save as often as we want,
whereever we want. That circumstance makes this trophy a lot easier than in the other two installments. For both
boss fights (Talion and the Dragon) there is a strategy to make them ridiculously easy. Both are shown in my
respective videos.

Finish Temple of Xian chapter
Story-related. Unlocks automatically after finishing The Dragon's Lair.
Level 18 - Home Sweet Home
This is the final level of the main game. If you collected every item so far you can unlock Souvenirs From
Around the Globe near the end. To get all trophies we have to finish the final fight in two different ways,
both are shown in my video. Overall the entire lower floor is pretty dark. If its too dark for you, you can
adjust the brightness settings of your TV or play around with the ingame settings. For Let's Dance it's
important to know that, if you reload your game, the music will be turned off immediately.
Let's Dance
Defeat all enemies in the ball room while music is on
To beat this level we have to fight off three waves of enemies and then the final boss.
The hardest part is making your way to the ball room and push the button to start the music without taking too
much damage. The first wave consists of six enemies (2 melee enemies, 3 gunmen and a dog). Once they are all
eliminated in the ball room, we need to get out the front door to trigger the second wave which consits of
seven enemies (2
dogs, 3 gunmen, and 2 melee enemies). Deal with them the same way as you did with the first wave. After that
we have to move towards the maze to trigger a dog and a gunman we have to take out in the ball room as
well. After defeating every enemy the final boss should spawn and automatically come to the ball room.

Finish Home Sweet Home chapter
Story-related. Unlocks automatically after finishing Home Sweet Home.
Souvenirs From Around the Globe
Take every collectable item in a single walkthrough
585 items need to be picked up for this in a single playthrough. Using a video guide is
highly
recommended for this. There is no chapter select to clean it up so make sure to take a look at the result
screen and see if your amount of pickups matches the maximum number-
I Really Think I've Seen Enough!
Make Fiamma Nera boss appear in the final cutscene
When you trigger the final boss (the guy with dual pistols) run all the way back to the
bathroom next to the room where the level starts and wait for him to follow you there. Defeat him somewhere
near the windows and the trophy should pop shortly afterwards.
The following five sections are not required for the platinum trophy. If you're not interested in these
trophies you can scroll down to the bottom of the page to see what you should keep in mind while attempting New
Game+
DLC - Level 1 - The Cold War
The Cold War marks the beginning of the Golden Mask DLC. It contains 71 collectibles and we can work on three
different trophies. Capitalist Accumulation will automatically unlock if we collect everything. The other
two will unlock at later
levels of this DLC. To get the most out of it, don't shoot at any inuit warrior, you'll meet them in the area of
Secret #3. They are hard to see, but as long as they don't attack us, we're good to go. The
related trophy Na Zdorovye! unlocks in Kingdom.
Snow March requires us to finish the entire level without using a snowmobile in the first two levels.
Capitalist Accumulation
Get hidden harpoon gun, M16, Automatic Pistols and Uzis in the first level
Unlocks automatically while going for Harvest Plan Implemented.
DLC - Level 2 - Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold is the second level of the Golden Mask DLC. We have to collect 69 items and four trophies. Make a
manual save right before finishing this level. You may need to reload it a couple of times if you're going for
all trophies
in Furnace of the Gods.
Ordered to Be Shot
Do not let flamethrower enemies have time to use their weapons
We have to defeat all six flamethrower enemies without them using their weapons. To
take them out quickly the M16 is recommended. They only use their weapons if Lara is pretty close to them so
it's recommended to keep your distance. The first two get their own cutscene, so you can't miss the them. The
third one is in the same room that's pointed out for True Konsomol Member. The remaining three are in
an area with rats and barred windows. It is a good idea to make a save before going in there. Sometimes these
guys use their weapons behind the wall even if you haven't spotted them.
Denouncing the Enemy
Throw a flare into a small rat hole
This trophy requires us to throw a flare into a rat hole near the end. Right at the end
of the level, we'll reach a cave with a bridge overlooking a slope, with a climbable wall above it.
We need to jump to the climbable wall, and move as far down and to the right as possible. It is crucial to not
drop onto the slope, because we would miss a medipack and this trophy.
True Komsomol Member
Don't break any hammer and sickle windows
Just don't destroy windows with a hammer and sickle symbol on it. About midway you'll
get to a spot, after collecting the first Cardkey where you have to wait for an enemy to destroy one of these
windows so you
can continue. There are two windows across from you and a pool below.
Apart from that one spot, there is nothing to worry about.
Snow March
Finish first two levels without using snowmobiles
If we didn't use a snowmobile in The Cold War and don't use one here, we'll earn
this trophy on the results screen.
DLC - Level 3 - Furnace of the Gods
Furnace of the Gods is the third level of the Golden Mask DLC and it's the one that's offering us the most
trophies. We need to collect 64 items and seven trophies.
Gold Rush
Obtain the Golden Mask of Tornarsuk
Story-related. Unlocks automatically.
Planned Economy
From the start of the level get the Mask of Tornarsuk in less than 50 seconds
We have to collect the mask within the first 50 seconds of the level. If you do so on
your first try, you'll
earn Gold Rush as well. However reloading a save voids the trophy, unless you reload your last save
from "Fool's Gold". Alternatively you can restart the level, but that option is only available if Lara dies.
Solve the Problem of Deficit
Pick up that box of flares before the boulder rolls down
Just after picking up the first secret, we'll come to a spot with some flares and a
skeleton on the ground. Stepping into this slightly lower area will trigger a boulder. It is a rather tricky
trophy and it is recommended to make your life easier by using modern controls as they allow you to turn
around a little quicker.
We'll Surpass You. And We'll Go Forward.
Run through a corridor with a rolling blade without stopping and without taking
damage
This is pretty straightforward, just keep moving while maneuvering around the rolling
blade. We'll come to this rolling blade trap shortly after picking up the second secret. Wait until the trap
rolls away from you and run diagonally into the alcove. The trap should roll past you allowing you to leave
the area without stopping.

Defeat two polar bears without evidence
If you're working on Harvest Plan Implemented you shouldn't miss any of the two
polar bears. The trophy itself is very easy, it's the counterpart to the Leave No Evidence trophy of
the Great
Wall. The main difference between the polar bears and the T-Rexes is that the polar bears are done after
getting hit by a single grenade.
The Dissolution
Break all shattered floor panels over big funnel
Right before finishing this level we can earn another trophy where we have to break all
floor panels before dropping into the big hole. There are multiple ways to do this, I personally liked to do
it by breaking all panels above the hole
first so I could see where to jump to after breaking all panels around the large medipack. But you can try to
dissolve them in a "U" shape and leave the central tile for the finish, too.
Defensive Capabilities
Don't hurt the catfish, but don't let them bite you either
To get this trophy we have to make each of the five catfish spawn and are not
allowed to hurt them or get hurt by them. This can be especially tricky if you're going for all collectibles
in the same run, but you can draw
them away from the items and increase your chances. Again making manual saves is highly recommended before and
after every encounter. The first two encounters will be one-on-one but the third encounter features three
catfish, when you flooded the golden ruins. If you feel like collecting every pickup while being chased by
them is too much of a pain, just get to the end of the area, make a manual save and finish the level to pop
the trophy. Doing that allows you to reload afterwards, get rid of them and pickup all remaining items from
there.
DLC - Level 4 - Kingdom
Kingdom is the fourth level of the Golden Mask DLC. If you didn't collect all secrets the DLC is over after
this one. However if you have all secrets you'll unlock a
bonus level called Nightmare in Vegas, which will be covered in the next section. We need to collect 52
items and
four trophies.
Victory Over the Bourgeoisie
Fight the Guardian of the Kingdom by staying with him on the other side of the bridge
with no way back
After placing the Mask of Tornarsuk the Guardian will spawn. Wait for it to come towards
you, run past it and use the switch on top to open a new room with a bridge inside. That's the room we need to
enter with the guardian. If you're going for Harvest Plan Implemented in the same playthorugh make sure
you collect both items near the switch as well. As soon as you are ready to finish this level, enter the newly
opened room and run to the other end of the bridge. There is another switch that will destroy the bridge,
which means we can only use it once the Guardian crossed the bridge as well. This traps it with Lara in the
same small space. Defeat it right there to earn this trophy.
You'll automatically earn Comrade Croft as well.
Legitimate Repression
Leave three sasquatches locked in the start cage
This can easily be the most annoying trophy of the entire DLC, because the movement of
the
sasquatches is mostly unpredictable and they can escape quickly. In addition to that Laras movement gets upset
when going for the switch or the hole because they are very close to her. If you can't get all 3 locked up at
once it might be worth a try to lock up only two of them, because once you collect a large medipack later on,
another sasquatch will spawn in the cage. The trophy pops on the result screen.
Comrade Croft
Finish Melnikov Island chapter
Story-related. Unlocks automatically after finishing Kingdom.
Na Zdorovye!
Don't anger Inuit warriors or their spirits
This trophy unlocks after Kingdom if you didn't fire a single shot at any of the
Ice Spirits or Inuit Warriors. If they die in battle against Lara's enemies it won't void the trophy. To work
on "Na Zdorovye!" throughout the first three levels is fairly easy, but in Kingdom
you have to make a manual save and defeat one of the inuit warriors because he drops two sets of grenades we
need for Harvest Plan mplemented. Good news though, when you reload your save it'll take you only roughly
6-7 minutes
to get to the finish.
DLC - Level 5 - Nightmare in Vegas
Nightmare in Vegas is the bonus level of the Golden Mask DLC. If you collected all 12 secrets throughout the
four Melnikov levels you can access it. In terms of trophies it is anything but a nightmare. We'll have plenty
of ammo and there is no annoying trophy along the way. Just make sure to collect all 75 items and earn the rest
of the trophies when there is an opportunity for them.
The Motherland Calls
Do a handstand on the top of the sculpture
After using the Hotel Key to progress through the level we'll get to the central room of
this level with a huge golden sculpture right in middle. Jump on it from the right side of the room and make
your way to the top. On the highest ledge, perform a handstand while pulling up by holding

1980 Summer Olympics
In your nightmare perform double somersault to obtain Uzis
If you look down in the room with the giant golden sculpture you'll spot a small hole on
the floor. To unlock this trophy we need to land in this hole with a swan dive with a double somersault.
That's exactly what we did for Crane Dive.
The Nightmare Just Got Worse
Kill both T-Rexes
During the level we'll come to an area that looks like a city street. Upon entering the
first T-Rex spawns. After dealing with it continue on until you pick up the Elevator Junction. This will
motivate the second T-Rex to stop hiding. Deal with it however you like and the trophy is yours.
Harvest Plan Implemented
Take every collectable item in a single walkthrough
Picking up all 331 items in a single playthorugh is quite tedious and using a video
guide is highly recommended. In my playlist you'll find a video for every single level of the DLC with all
pickups and trophies.
Codex of Melnikov
Collect all 15 secrets
Unlocks automatically while going for Harvest Plan Implemented.
Lucid Dream
In your nightmare fight the Guardian of the Kingdom in his own cage
At the end of the level, we will take an elevator up and arrive in a corridor with an
outdoor area on the left and ramps to the right. First, we need to move to the left,
taking a sharp turn upon entering the outdoor area to collect the three items there for Harvest Plan
Implemented. By the time we gather
these items, the Guardian will be very close, so keep moving.
Next, we return to the elevator and pull the switch. As it descends, we must run across the top and jump to
the other side of the shaft, to grab the ladder. Climb close to the top, then backflip into the room
behind Lara. After collecting the five items inside, we can go through the room and climb down the ladder,
which
will drop us back into the hallways.
Now we can finally head down the slopes, jumping over the broken glass piles along the way. The Guardian will
likely be on our heels, so we must not slow down. At the bottom of the path, we will end up in the cage where we
need to finish this fight. But first, we need to collect the final pickup before engaging in
battle.
That's Just a Nightmare
Finish Nightmare in Vegas bonus level
Story-related. Unlocks automatically.
Speedrun & New Game+
New Game+ can be finished in less than 4 hours. It is significantly easier than Tomb Raider 1 and Tomb Raider 3
because we can save the game at any point.
Starring One More Time
Beat the game on New Game+
Regular Medipack pickups are replaced by ammo in New Game+. Therefore collecting all
secrets, whenever it is not too time consuming, is important to get some. We'll get 4 medipacks for
collecting all secrets in a level.
The monks in Barkhang Monastery are hostile towards you, making it a little bit more difficult. You can
either choose the legit way through the monastery, or the well-known glitch. By using the glitch you
could save 20 or even more minutes. At least if they aren't fixing this at some point.
In Home Sweet Home you won't have access to any healing item at all.
A huge difference to Tomb Raider 1 is that you can make unlimited manual saves. Use that to your advantage,
whenever
you pass fights or certain areas without taking damage or when you nail shortcuts/tricky jumps etc. Saving a
lot saves a lot of your
medipacks and/or ammo. Both are vital factors in later levels like Tibetan Foothills, Barkhang Monastery,
Floating Islands and Dragon's Lair.
