Chapter 1

In the first chapter we will earn one story-related trophy and have to collect to art scrolls and a glitchbird after that.

Powerful Puncher

Defeat the Honey Badger in a boxing match.

This trophy is unmissable and unlocks automatically during the first chapter.

The Joy Of Art

Find an Art Scroll.

There are a total of 50 art scrolls scattered over the ten chapters. They can be collected while using chapter select in case we miss one. If you need a visual reference please refer to the respective video in my playlist.

Cute Little Glitchbird

Find a Glitchbird.

Every chapter has one more or less well hidden Glitchbird. As of the version this guide was written with, this trophy can not be obtained via chapter select as it resets the counter. That means we have to collect all 10 in a single full playthrough.

Chapter 2

The second chapter contains five art scrolls and another glitchbird we need to collect. After that we get the first opportunity to earn Optimistic Explorer.

Optimistic Explorer

Try jumping off the desk. Worth a go.

Upon meeting Humgrump for the first time, we will be expelled from the book. To receive this trophy, we must either walk or leap off the desk at the bottom of the screen.

Chapters 3 & 4

Chapter 3 doesn't offer any specific trophy. In terms of collectibles we need to pick up two art scrolls and one glitchbird. In Chapter 4 we can obtain both "Huge..." trophies and catch the fish. Furthermore we need to collect seven art scrolls and another glitchbird.

Huge Frog

Rearrange a sentence to make the little frog huge.

We will see a small frog to the left of a large bug that is obstructing our way forward in Chapter 4. We must use the word "tiny" rather than "huge" in order to advance the plot. Putting "huge" in front of the frog will unlock this trophy.

Perfect Fish Grab

Catch Floatio on your first try.

We will encounter a fish out of water in Chapter 4 after making the lily pad enormous and proceeding to the following screen. When we interact with it, a QTE begins. On the first attempt with , we must catch it when it flies above our hand. It will jump from left to right and back again.

Huge Bridge

Rearrange a sentence to make the bridge huge.

We must fix a bridge in order to advance in the plot during a section of Chapter 4, when the swamp land turns to night. Use the portal to return to the story page that contains the word "huge" from Huge Frog, then return to this screen and add it to the phrase.

Chapters 5 & 6

Chapter 5 doesn't offer any specific trophy. In terms of collectibles we need to pick up six art scrolls and one glitchbird. In Chapter 6 however we can obtain four new trophies. Apart from that we need to collect eight art scrolls and another glitchbird.

Cheese Mushrooms

Rearrange a sentence to make some cheese mushrooms.

To move the plot on after the altercation with Krong, we must get a cheesy block. To access a key, leap out of the book and move the wooden block to the left. Obtain the word "metal" by opening the locked door on the right. Swap out the wooden block for a metal one, reposition it, and then slam it into the wall once or twice more, creating an opening inside. There are some glowing mushrooms inside the cave. To add some light to the pitch-black cavern, claim the term "glowing" and replace "metal" with it. Claim the word "cheese" at the cave's end, then change the mushrooms to unlock the trophy.

Star Walker

Retrieve the scroll from the top of the star projector.

We have to find three different rocket parts in the 3D world in Chapter 6. First, get to the mug Zip is in by defeating all enemies just north of the book. This will allow us to speak with Zip. In the last section, which comes in a lunchbox, we have to finish a level in a shoot-em game. On that lunch box is the star projector. Use the jetpack in order to obtain the scroll.

Metal Warrior

Defeat the Mega Eagle.

This trophy unlocks automatically during chapter 6.

Cheese Pillar

Rearrange a sentence to make a cheese pillar.

We can either change the words "towering" or "noisy" as soon as we see Gozzy and the defense system. Get the "cheese" block from Cheese Mushrooms and use it for both sides.

Chapter 7 & 8

In chapter 7 we need to pick up eight art scrolls and one glitchbird. Chapter 8 has a story-related trophy tied to it. It also has three art scrolls and another glitchbird.

Mighty Witch

Defeat the Mage.

This trophy unlocks automatically during chapter 8.

Chapter 9

This chapter has eight art scrolls and another glitchbird. In addition to that we can gather two more trophies throughout the chapter and should unlock Powerful Jot at Martina's where we buy our 49th art scroll.

Bust Buster

Rearrange a sentence to blow up Humgrump's bust.

We will encounter a room with two metal boxes and some enemies after recovering all of our equipment from the 3D world and advancing through the book. We must first defeat every opponent. To open the yellow gate, press the button. Now, to spawn one more chest, swap the "two" and the "three". Freeze the right box with the "Stop Stamp" and use the tilt gauges to make a path to the broken pipe. Take the word "broken" from there and enter the room on the right. The bust in question and two additional enemies are located here. Use "broken" instead of "diamond" to get this trophy and another Art Scroll.

WRETCHED RODENT!!!

SIMPLY INFURIATING

Reaching the third and last Data Center in Chapter 9 earns us this trophy. In data centers, we take on the role of Pip and must make precise movements to avoid the adversaries. If you're having problems, you can also choose not to play the minigame and still receive the trophy.

Powerful Jot

Fully upgrade Jot's abilities.

This trophy is given for purchasing and completely improving every one of Jot's skills in Martina's store. An NPC wearing a present box can be found in every chapter. Here, we can use our lightbulbs to purchase the Art Scrolls and Skills needed for Art Collector. We can unlock both trophies in a single playthrough if we gather every lightbulb we encounter. There is also a good opportunity to farm some during chapter 6.

Chapter 10

Right at the start of the chapter we need to collect the final art scroll and the final glitchbird. After that we are just one final fight away from our new platinum.

Art Collector

Find all Art Scrolls.

Fifty Art Scrolls are hidden/purchasable throughout the game. When we collect all of them in a single save file, we receive this trophy. It's simple to keep track of them if we missed one because we can see them in the menu. You can replay the relevant chapter if you did. If you need some visual reference, please refer to my playlist at the top of the page.

Triumphant Squire

Defeat the nefarious sorceror Humgrump.

This trophy unlocks automatically after the final fight.

Adventure Complete

Complete the Adventure Mode.

Completing the story in "Adventure Mode," which is the standard difficulty, earns us this trophy. It also unlocks Story Complete.

Story Complete

Complete the Story Mode.

Unlocks after finishing the game for the first time.

Saviour of the Glitchbirds

Rescue all Glitchbirds.

Ten Glitchbirds are hidden throughout the game. When we collect them all, we receive this trophy. There is only one per chapter. As of version 1.13.1 it should be possible to collect them via chapter select. If you need any visual reference please refer to the playlist on top of the page. In older versions all of them had to be collected during a single playthorugh because the counter resetted after the use of chapter select.
