Paw Patrol: Grand Prix (work in progress)

Step 1 - Tutorial

The tutorial teaches us the basics of the game and automatically unlock two trophies in the process.

A different Strategy

Use a Skill for the first time

Every pup has a special skill that we can activate, after collecting enough treats, by pressing . General skills can be used by pressing when we collected them by driving through an item bubble.

A new driver

Finish The Tutorial

The tutorial doesn't teach us everything we need know. It is possible to drift by holding and letting go of once the tires sparked. For the trophy, just do everything our instructor tells us to.

Step 2 - Split-Screen

To unlock all split-screen trophies we need 4 controllers. Using Remote Play is also possible to reduce the number of needed controllers to 3.

Win with Friends

Win a 4 player split-screen race

This trophy requires 4 human players / controllers in a local split-screen match. When all players joined the session, we just need to finish on the podium with Player 1.

Challenger

Win a race in split-screen

Unlocks automatically together with Win with Friends.

First Victory

First Race Win

Unlocks automatically together with Win with Friends or after your first win in Adventure Mode.

Step 3 - Adventure Mode

Adventure Mode is the main game mode of Paw Patrol Grand Prix. Here we have to play through a 17-race long story. Completing the story takes 50-60 minutes and we have to do it 10 times.

Just getting started

Win the first adventure race in first position

None of the selectable difficulty levels are really difficult. But all trophies can be achieved on "Easy" anyway. If you drift every now and then, it should be no problem at all to win. On the way to Unbeatable, we get this trophy automatically.

Booster

Step on a boost pad 30 times

Boost pads are scattered throughout all tracks. We don't need to use 30 in a single race, the trophy is cumulative and therefore hardly missable throughout 10 playthroughs.

Unstoppable

Win 10 Races

Happens automatically while going for Unbeatable. Just like stated above, some drifting every now and then should be enough to win the races easily.

Every pup is the best pup

Unlock all characters

This trophy should pop after successfully finishing the ninth race of the first season. If not for whatever reason, keep winning races until it does.

Hero's journey

Finish the Adventure

The Adventure ends after winning the 17th race of the story. It pops automatically while attempting A sky full of stars.

Unbeatable

Win all the adventure races in the first position

If you make a habit of drifting regularly there shouldn't be any challenging race for you. For this trophy we must win all 17 races of a single Adventure.

Win 30 Races

It's not possible to unlock this trophy within the first Adventure. But assuming you got Unbeatable in the first season, you just need to win 13 more races which is likely about to happen during the second Adventure playthrough.

Collector

Unlock All Esthetics Items

Esthetics Items unlock through story progression. For most pups that happens after races #1, #5, #9, #13 and #17, except Chase and Ryder, their adventure will only unlock 3 items with no rewards after #13 and #17.

Win the adventure with all pups

This is the most time consuming trophy this game has to offer. We must successfully play through the Adventure 10 times (once with each pup) while winning the final race each time. To save at least some time for Master, use the special skill of each pup at least once. In terms of trophies Ryder is also considered a pup, which means we must win the final race with him as well.

Use all skills

Like already stated in the tutorial section, there are two types of skills we must use:

1. Special skills: Every pup has its own special skill (lower left corner) that we can activate by pressing after collecting enough treats.
2. General skills: They can be used by pressing as soon as we collected one of them. Which one we get is random. There is a good chance that you miss one while playing and dominating naturally. It's looking like some kind of robot vacuum cleaner and is only given to drivers in positions 7 and 8. If you still need it after completing the Adventure 10 times, start an instant race and fall back to get items in last place and you should eventually get it.
