Trophy Guide & Roadmap

If you prefer to watch a video instead of reading the guide, feel free to do so. There is a playlist that covers every trophy on my YouTube channel. If you'd like and subscribe or even become a member, it would mean a lot to this channel!

Step 1 - MX2 Time Attacks

After creating our rider, we can choose between 3 modes to start with. Career, Season or Time Attack. You can do this in any order you like. I'd recommend starting with Time Attack for two reasons. One, you can gain track knowledge and improve your lap times without competition and two, it gives you a good idea early on whether this is a platinum hunt for you or not.

Our goal here is to unlock all 20 gold medals of the MX2 class. They are all pretty doable with the default setup.

I Got Drip!
Create or modify a livery.
When you create your character and pick two bikes, you can change the color of your racing suit. Do so to unlock this trophy.

This is possible in every mode. Just press Options during any race or time attack, open Photo Mode and press .
Beginner

If you complete all time attacks in the order of their appearance, this trophy unlocks in Pietramurata the 4th track.
Experienced

If you complete all time attacks in the order of their appearance, this trophy unlocks in St. Jean D'Angely the 7th track.
Collector

If you complete all time attacks in the order of their appearance, this trophy unlocks in Maggiora the 10th track.

Step 2 - MXGP Time Attacks

This step is more or less identical to the first one. The only difference is that we now have to beat all times with a 450cc bike. But they are all pretty doable with the default setup again.

Got My Own Statue
Earn all bronze medals on all official tracks in Time Trial mode.
Unlocks automatically on our way to Golden Boy.
Silver Biker
Earn all silver medals on all official tracks in Time Trial mode.
Unlocks automatically on our way to Golden Boy.
Golden Boy
Earn all gold medals on all official tracks in Time Trial mode.
To get this trophy we need to all 40 time attacks (20 with MX2 and 20 with MXGP). All of them are doable with the default setup. Some of them can be quite challenging, for example Villa la Angostura, Arroyomolinos, Riola Sardo & St Jean D'Angely. Once you've completed these four everything else should be a lot easier.

Step 3 - Free Ride

Before diving right into our MX2 career, we can earn 3 quick trophies in Free Ride.

Long Jump
Perform a jump of at least 70m long in Free mode.
There are many places on the map where we can do this. The quarry is a good choice for this as well, but along the main road are many small hills you can approach with full speed to jump even further than 70m.
High Jump
Perform a jump of at least 20m high in Free mode.
Drive over to the quarry. There are many steep conveyor belts. Run up one of them with full speed to reach 20m in height.
Gourmet
Eat dirt, sand, asphalt, wood, and grass.
To unlock this trophy, we need to fall on all 5 different grounds. Grass, dirt, sand and asphalt are pretty obvious. Eating wood however doesn't mean just crashing into trees. There is a small wooden bridge close to our starting point that's actually a ramp to land on another small wooden bridge. If we manage to fall on one of those two it counts for the trophy. The third video of my playlist shows a possible way.

Step 4 - MX2 Career & Season

At the beginning of the career we have to win several races in the Free Ride area until we reach 1.000 followers. After that we have to earn a bit of money to be able to participate in the championship races. I'd recommend to win every race while going for the Holeshot. Winning rewards us with a good amount of money and a trophy for each race. Make sure to accept at least one clash on the social media tab between races.

The main differences between Season and Career mode are that you can set the difficulty to Amateur and you can quit races to be a bit faster.

Step 5 - MXGP Career & Season

After taking care of all track-related trophies, we can now speed up the career mode, because we don't need to win anything and just have to get to the end of the season.

World Class
Complete an MXGP season in Career mode.
If you're not interested in winning the championship, you can finish the season in slightly more than an hour. Depending on your skill of getting Holeshots. The process to reach the end of the season quickly is doing the Amateur challenge and then entering the race, capturing the holeshot and quitting out of the round just after that. If you repeat this process for every race and get all the Holeshots you shouldn't run out of money any time soon. However, if you can't afford to start a race, enter the unofficial race for that week. It's four laps long, which is still a bit shorter than the actual race.
450cc Enthusiast
Complete an MXGP Season mode.
Please refer to 450cc Master.
450cc Professional
Finish at least 5th in MXGP Season mode.
Please refer to 450cc Master.
450cc Master
Finish 1st in MXGP Season mode.
After quitting our way through the MXGP career, we have to participate once again. The process is just like it was for 250cc Master. Just win enough races on any difficulty you like and when you're far enough ahead of the competition, you can quit some GPs to save some time. Usually 3-4 because Prado and/or Herlings finish in the Top 5 almost everytime.
Chainsaw Rider
Complete All Trophies.
