Important to know: Two controllers are required for Platinum
Each section of the roadmap also has an associated video in my YouTube playlist. So if you would rather watch
a video than read the guide, you are very welcome to do so. If you leave a like or even a subscription, it would
mean a lot to the channel! But be aware, this has been my first ever YouTube guide with no editing skills at all
and it shows in the videos :)
Step 1 - Tutorials
Welcome to the trophy guide for MotoGP 23. Most trophies are pretty straightforward but a video for each step
of this roadmap is provided regardless. In this first step you start with learning the new controls/features
like using the RHD or changing bikes during variable weather.
Trophies in this step:
In the saddle
Complete a lap during your first track trial.
You will earn this automatically during the tutorials. It should pop right after the
first lap.
School is out
Play all the Tutorials.
The tutorials consist of 6 separate tutorials to teach you some basic controls and
present some new features.
Bike Control – Automatically unlocks "In the saddle"
Flag to Flag – Enter the Pits on the first lap and complete the first sector
Long Lap Penalty – Race the final sector and serve the LLP
Engine Mapping and Fuel Consumption – You'll be given more than enough time. Just lower PWR to 1
and complete the lap
Ride-height device (RHD) activation – The RHD can be activated by pressing . When activated the bike runs closer to the ground, and
therefore gets faster down the straights. Activate it whenever it's prompted and complete the
lap. 1:40:00 is plenty of time
Manual Start – Hold the clutch with and
release when the lights go out. You just need to complete the first sector without crashing.
Step 2 - Time Trial
The quickest way to work through this stage is on Sachsenring as it is easy and a lap is pretty short. If you
exceed track limits, go back to the pits and go back out. As long as you don't cross the start/finish line
with an invalid lap the laps will still count as consecutive.
Trophies in this step:
High fidelity
Complete 5 consecutive valid laps in Time Trial mode.
5 consecutive valid laps in Time Trial can seem a bit daunting when you're new to
the series and did just start the game. Exceeding the track limits or crashing will result in invalid
laps. But you have to complete 25 valid laps for "Nothing but perfection" anyways. If you do crash or go
over the track limit you can pause the game and go back to the pits or select "Restart Flying Lap".
Doing so will keep your streak of consecutive laps going.
Nothing but perfection
Complete 25 laps in Time trial mode.
All 25 laps have to be valid, so if you crash or exceed the track limits too far
your lap won't count towards them. Sachsenring might be a good choice here because it's the fastest
available track. But feel free to do it somewhere else. You don't need to run them in a single session
and are also allowed to change tracks while going for it.
Step 3 - Multiplayer
All online trophies can be done with just one other player. The good news are that this game actually
supports cross-gen and cross-platform so it shouldn't be too hard to find someone to do the 25 races with.
Just keep an eye on "Fast fashion". To earn "Sofa rivals" you need a second controller.
Trophies in this step:
Sofa rivals
Complete a race in Split Screen mode.
A second controller is required for this one. Splitscreen mode is under the tab
Multiplayer and then Local. Race length doesn't matter and you can completely turn off AI if you wish.
Fast fashion
Complete an Online Race wearing a custom helmet.
Before joining an online lobby make sure to download a custom helmet. As soon as you
get into the lobby change your rider, go in the "Official team" tab and choose any bike you like. The
trophy should unlock right after the race.
Nice view from here
Reach the podium in three different Online Races.
If you're going to tackle the 25 online races with a friend you should earn this
through natural progression. If you don't, make sure to search for rather empty lobbies to increase your
chance of finishing on the podium.
Do you want a rematch?
Complete 25 Online Races.
Private matches do count towards this trophy which makes it easily boostable. 3 lap
races on tracks like Laguna Seca or Sachsenring are the quickest way to earn this. Counting all loading
screens it might take you 2,5-3 hours to complete all required races.
Step 4 - Grand Prix (optional)
This part is fully optional. The trophies in this step are also achieveable in career mode but can save you
some precious time on your way to the platinum if you get them outside of the career. You can go for them
anytime you want.
Trophies in this step:
Just a quick detour
Serve a penalty in the LLP lane in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
Exceed track limits 5 times or enter the pits way too fast or cross the white line
while going for "Did you bring an umbrella?" and you will get penalized. If you have to serve a penalty
the distance to the LLP will be displayed when you get near the respective turn.
Did you bring an umbrella?
Win a Flag to Flag race in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
Flag to flag races are only available in MotoGP. It is recommended to combine with
"Collect them all" to get it out of the way early. To have a chance on earning it, the weather
conditions need to be Variable and forced weather transition must be activated. After it begins to rain
or dry out during the race you will see a white flag. After that you can go into the pits to swap bikes
and go racing again. Just win the race afterwards and the trophy should unlock.
Victory at Sachsenring
Win a race at Sachsenring in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Last minute save
Race in Q1 and qualify for Q2 in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
When you go for "Collect them all" and "Perfect weekend", select Fabio Quartararo
and you will start the weekend in Q1. Just post the fastest or second fastest time in Q1 and you earn
this trophy.
Perfect weekend
Clinch Poles and win a Sprint Race and a race in Grand Prix, Championship or Career
mode.
It is recommended to do this outside of career, because you can enable/disable
Sprint Races only once per season. So if you decide to do this during your career you need to do at
least 9 additional sprint races. Win Qualifying and both races. Sprint races are only available in
MotoGP.
Collect them all
Complete a race with each MotoGP Manufacturer in Grand Prix, Championship or Career
mode.
Sadly you cannot earn this during those 25 online races and you definitely shouldn't
go for it in career. You can unlock this trophy in Grand Prix whenever you want.
You need to finish a race with each of the 6 manufacturers in MotoGP™. These are:
Aprilia
Ducati
GASGAS
Honda
KTM
Yamaha
Second take
Win a race with Quick Restart Procedure in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
A quick restart procedure is only available in Moto2 and Moto3. It seems to work
better with a race length of 35% or more. When it rained for a while, you will see a red flag and the
race is stopped immediately. If there are enough laps left the race will restart automatically. Win the
race of the remaining laps and this trophy is yours.
Step 5 - Academy
The Academy Tests require you to get 50 bronze medals. This shouldn't be too challenging. Just stay patient
and don't run off track after crossing the finish line or your time will be invalid.
Trophies in this step:
Warm-up lap
Get at least the Bronze in 10 challenges in MotoGP Academy mode.
Please refer to "Phenomenon of motorbikes" for more information.
No fear when turning
Get at least the Bronze in 25 challenges in MotoGP Academy mode.
Please refer to "Phenomenon of motorbikes" for more information.
Phenomenon of motorbikes
Get at least the Bronze in 50 challenges in MotoGP Academy mode.
The game has a total of 105 challenges. You just need to finish 50 of them. Getting
a bronze shouldn't be an issue at all. Just make sure you don't exceed the track limits after crossing
the finish line. There are 5 challenges per track and they are basically just time trials for each of
the 4 sectors and one for a full lap. Going for Gold or completing full lap challenges is a waste of
time unless you want to challenge yourself properly.
Step 6 - Debut season
The debut season is just a 3 race stretch. Make sure to get enough pole positions, so you don't need anymore
qualifyings for the rest of your career.
Trophies in this step:
Victory at Sepang
Win a race at Sepang in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Expectations met
Complete a Race in Career mode respecting every session objective.
You'll probably earn it during your debut season. The objectives are randomly
generated and might be connected to Pratice or Qualifying. But normally your objective is something like
"Top 15 Finish" and should be met automatically when you're going for wins.
Always first
Clinch Poles on 3 different tracks in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
This trophy can be done during your debut season in career. It consists of 3 races,
just enough to combine them with qualifyings and get rid of this trophy early.
Victory at Lusail
Win a race at Lusail in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Valencia
Win a race at Valencia in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
First steps
Complete the Debut Season in Career mode.
Your debut season consists of 3 Moto3 races. Sepang, Lusail and Valencia. Knock off
"Always first" during this season. Your position in the championship doesn't matter as the trophy will
pop at the end of the 3rd one regardless.
Step 7 - Moto3 season
There is no need for a full calendar. Choose a short calendar and pick 10 racetracks you haven't won at. Make
sure to select Moto2 when you get asked about next season after race 4. In this step you should start
working on "The thrill of the challenge".
Trophies in this step:
Clean riding
Win 10 Races without using Rewind in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
"Using" Rewind means activating it. So once you press in a race it won't count towards the required 10 races. Whether you
actually use the rewind or abort it. You should unlock it during your Moto3 season as these bikes tend
to crash less often than the faster ones.
Victory at Portimão
Win a race at Portimão in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Termas
Win a race at Termas in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Austin
Win a race at Austin in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Jerez
Win a race at Jerez in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Mandalika
Win a race at Mandalika in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Phillip Island
Win a race at Phillip Island in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Moto3 Championship victory
Win the Moto3 Championship in Career mode.
You earn this after the race that put you so far ahead that it is mathematically
impossible to catch up. Doing it in a short season is just fine. To avoid getting stuck in Moto3 for an
additional season it is advised to choose the Moto2 option after the fourth race.
Victory at Chang
Win a race at Chang in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Le Mans
Win a race at Le Mans in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Mugello
Win a race at Mugello in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Assen
Win a race at Assen in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Rider of the month
Meet the season's Team goals in Career mode.
Should unlock automatically during one of your seasons. Usually these goals are
something like finishing Top 5 or just Top 10 in the constructors championship. You can see your goal
before signing the contract at the beginning of the season.
Step 8 - Moto2 season
In your Moto2 season you should earn the remaining trophies for winning at a specific track. Apart from that
your main focus should still be on "The thrill of the challenge". A short season is long enough. Make sure
to pick the option "MotoGP" after Race 4.
Trophies in this step:
Victory at Sokol
Win a race at Sokol in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Silverstone
Win a race at Silverstone in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Red Bull Ring
Win a race at Red Bull Ring in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Catalunya
Win a race at Catalunya in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Victory at Misano
Win a race at Misano in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Moto2 Championship victory
Win the Moto2 Championship in Career mode.
Pretty similar to "Moto3™ Championship victory". You earn this as soon as it is
mathematically impossible to catch up with you in the standings. Doing it in a short season is again
just fine. To avoid getting stuck in Moto2 for an additional season it is advised to choose the MotoGP
option after the fourth race.
Here to stay
Win the championship twice in the same category in Career mode.
At the time of writing this guide, this trophy is glitched in a positive way, which
means it can be unlocked during your Moto2 season. If this gets patched just defend your MotoGP
Championship as you have to do 1,5 seasons anyway for "Point of reference".
Victory at Motegi
Win a race at Motegi in Grand Prix, Championship or Career mode.
You will get a number of opportunities to race on this track during your career. If
you can't get a win during all career seasons you can still win in a race in Grand Prix mode.
Step 9 - MotoGP season
The MotoGP season starts with a very important decision regarding your team. To make things easier, pick a
Honda or Aprilia team as both of them have a satellite and an official team in this class. Try to keep a
good relationship with your teammate and any other driver that works for your manufacturer. This time a full
season is recommended to have more opportunities for "The thrill of the challenge" and to get in position
for "Point of reference".
Trophies in this step:
Geared to survive
Complete a valid lap with the two proposed bikes during a Test session in Career
mode.
As soon as you made it to MotoGP™ you will participate in a test session right
before the start of the season. Leave the pits right away and post a valid lap time. After that go back
to the pits and change your active Spec with . Head
back out and post a valid lap with that setup as well. The trophy pops after you crossed the
start/finish line.
The road to the top
Become Team Leader in Career mode.
Please refer to "Point of reference" for more information.
MotoGP Championship victory
Win the MotoGP Championship in Career mode.
It is advised to get it during a full season while keeping an eye on "Point of
reference". As soon as it is mathematically impossible to catch up with you in the standings the trophy
will unlock. Doing it in a short season is possible as well if you wish to do so.
Step 10 - Cleanup/Final grind
If everything worked according to plan in the previous stage you should earn "Point of reference" after the
fourth race of your next MotoGP season. Afterwards the only thing between you and your shiny new platinum is
the grind towards "The thrill of the challenge".
Trophies in this step:
Point of reference
Become manufacturer Leader in Career mode.
The ultimate goal for this trophy is to become the leading driver of the official
manufacturer team. To get there you have to choose a satellite team when entering MotoGP™ and work your
way up to the official team. This is much easier with Honda or Aprilia instead of joining a Ducati team
because of the simple fact that Ducati has more than one satellite team. If you choose a full season
after joining a team, it is possible to get to the official team within this season. After the first
season you can and should sign a contract with the manufacturer team and outperform your teammate in the first 4 races to
become manufacturer leader.
You'll unlock "The road to the top" naturally during this process.
The thrill of the challenge
Win 10 Extra Challenges in Career mode.
Probably the worst trophy of this game. Apparently extra challenges appear more
often when you are mean to other drivers and push them off track or crash into them. The only challenges
counting for this trophy are those that get display on the left half before starting into a race
weekend. If you get one, make sure to read the requirements. Sometimes you need to beat your rival in
Qualifying and the race. If this is the last trophy you need to get the platinum, use the method shown
in the video starting at 1:22
