Trophy Guide & Roadmap

Step 1 - Before starting Career Mode

The steps of this guide can be done in any order. I usually like to leave Career Modes for the end of my playthroughs in racing games, but you can start there if you like to.

Easy
Beat the time of the Ghost of another player in Time Attack mode
Pick any track you prefer and deactivate any Physics Aid in Event Options that invalidates our lap time in this mode. Once you're are able to post a valid lap time, make sure to do a very slow lap. Return to the main menu afterwards. With that done you can load a ghost close to your poor lap. Open Time Attack mode, switch to Friends Leaderboards with and back again (this way you don't have to scroll down the entire list). Now select a ghost close to your "best" time and beat it.
"Battle Against a True Hero"
Complete the last lesson at the Supercross Academy
The game features 20 Academy lessons to teach us the basics of Supercross racing by putting us in different scenarios. To unlock the trophy we have to complete all 20 of them.
Unreachable
Complete an Official Championship of any class in Championship mode
First of all, we don't have to win this championship. We have to pick an Official Championship which means it's going to be exactly the same as one of those we have to finish multiple times in Career Mode. The fastest way to this trophy is picking "250 East" it has only 9 events. Whether you race the races or put the difficulty to the highest level and just stand around and wait for the AI to finish is up to you. You'll complete more than enough races for money or XP throughout the career. One way or the other, this trophy will take roughly 1 hour.
Explorer
Complete a race on every track of the Supercross Park
There are 8 different tracks we have to finish in quick races in the Supercross Park. Similar to Unreachable, we don't have to win any of the races. Therefore the decision whether you let the AI do the work or win the races yourself is yours again. All miles you ride in these races do NOT count towards Wind in My Hair.

Ride 100 miles (160 km) in the Supercross Park in offline Free Roaming
If you played earlier installments of this game you may recognize this trophy. If you want to get it done quickly, it is very boring. Just find an area where you can ride straight with full throttle. Ways that lead away from the stadium are fairly long, just ride until you hit an invisible wall, turn around and full throttle back to the stadium. Rinse and repeat until the trophy pops. To add some variety you can just enter one of the many tracks and run some laps there on your own, but doing so is slower.

To track your progress you have to open your profile by pressing the Touchpad in the main menu and note down how many total miles you have at this point and look back at it again, when you stop free roaming.
Filled with Determination
Complete all the SX Challenges of the SX Profile
SX Challenges can be found in our Rider Profile. We complete 3 of 4 automatically while hunting all trophies in Career Mode. The challenge called "The King" however must be done in Multiplayer mode. There we have to finish 30 times on the podium. Luckily the game features cross-play, so it's easier to connect with friends.

Complete a Main Event in a Custom Track created by another player
While completing the SX Challenge "The King", you can tackle this along the way. When you create the lobby, leave the track choice to the lobby creator so you can pick a track you like. To select a track eligible for this trophy, go to the "Custom" tab and pick any track you like. In "Most Downloaded" you can usually find very cool tracks or the very easy ones, players used for money farming in earlier games.

Purchase a total of 10 components for your Rider Customization
This trophy costs at least 70.000 credits. But money shouldn't be an issue at all. The components to spend just 70.000 are goggles, just buy 10 different ones.

Step 2 - Career Mode

As soon as you unlock them, keep an eye on Trainings, Coach Quests & Journal Challenges. Efficiently clearing all of these 3 determines how long our way to the platinum is going to be. Everything can be done on the easiest difficulty.

First!
Get a Holeshot in any game mode
We need to perform 20 starts, which means we have to hit the gas in the exact moment the starting gate drops. By doing one of those on the easiest difficulty it should result in a Holeshot too. To get a Holeshot we have to be the first rider cross the little white line that's usually located right behind the first turn.
Unstoppable
Get a Holeshot and victory in the same Main Event in any mode
Win the Main Event where you unlocked First! or one of the other 49 Main Events you have to start with a Holeshot for a Journal Challenge.
Tinkerer
Save a custom Bike Setup
For one of the Journal Challenges we have to make 80 setup changes. All of them can be done before the very first race. Just change one setting, back out and repeat this process. To unlock this trophy along the way, make sure to save one instead of backing out immediately.
The Future of Supercross
Complete the Futures chapter in Career Mode
The Futures chapter consists of 3 Main Events. After completing it we get access to more career features and can make our way to one the 250 championships.
Good as New
Totally get over any Injury
If our rider falls/crashes a lot he/she is likely going to get hurt. Especially at the beginning of our career before we invest too many skill points. To get over an injury we have to successfully clear a Workout session which can be found next to the Training. This trophy is glitched in positive way and should unlock after completing the first workout while doing all 3 tasks, even if our rider wasn't hurt at all.
"The Real Thing"
Win a Main Event with the Event Type option set on "The Real Thing"
The Real Thing makes us ride in Qualifying, Heat Race and Main Event, have to do a lot of these for the Journal Challenges.
Master of the Scrubverse
Complete a total of at least 100 scrubs
Scrubs are part of the Journal Challenges as well. Please refer to "Check".
Gimme Five
Complete at least five Practices with any result
No idea why the description says "Practices". The trophy unlocks after finishing 5 training sessions with any result. We have to finish all 50 of them with a 3-star result so don't worry about this trophy.
King of Minneapolis
Win a Main Event at Minneapolis in any game mode
Some races are exclusively part of the 250 West and others of the 250 East. However once we reach the 450 championship, we have to race on every official track. Make sure to win all races of the 450 class and you'll unlock this trophy there at the latest.
King of Arlington
Win a Main Event at Arlington in any game mode
Some races are exclusively part of the 250 West and others of the 250 East. However once we reach the 450 championship, we have to race on every official track. Make sure to win all races of the 450 class and you'll unlock this trophy there at the latest.
King of Daytona Beach

The Rookie chapter ends when we won one of the two different 250 championships.

Complete the Pro chapter in Career Mode
To unlock this trophy we need to win the 450 championship.
Face-to-face
Beat a Rival in Career Mode in any race
Rivals is a feature exclusive to the 450 championship. For every race in this championship the game gives us an opponent we have to beat. To complete the Journal Challenge tied to rivals, we have to beat 20 of them, which means we have to do two seasons in the 450 class.
Keeping Your Word
Meet a Contract Objective of an Official Team in Career mode
Before signing with an Official Team, take a look at their Objective for the duration of the contract. Usually we have to be in a given position in the championship rankings once the contract ends. Unlocks automatically on our way to Hype Beast.
It's a deal
Accept the contract of a Team you asked to join
Instead of just accepting a contract we can send a request to teams. If they consider us as their new rider, sign the contract with them to unlock this trophy.
Hype Beast
Unlock at least 3 Presets of different Official Teams in Career Mode
At the beginning and about midway through the season we get the opportunity to sign with a new team or sponsor. It is highly recommended to change teams at every opportunity. To unlock a team's Preset we have to meet their contract objective.
TV director
Start the replay in any game mode
On the results screen of every race we can press to start a reply of the race.
Seven Figures
Earn a total of 1,000,000 SX Credits
This pops naturally while collecting 100 podiums and clearing all Journal Challenges.
Perfect Shape
Complete the entire Skill Tree
We earn skill points by clearing Journal Challenges and achieving 3 stars in Training Sessions. If you decide to do all Journal Challenges you're going to reach the maximum of skill points long before the Challenges are completed.
Adept
Complete all the Coach missions
For Coach missions you'll find special videos in my playlist, because some of them can be quite tough. To unlock a set of challenges we often have to clear an objective first.
  • Whip King (Requirement: 50 successful Whips during Career races)
  • Scrub King (Requirement: 50 successful Scrubs during Career races)
  • Trial of the Masters (Requirement: Finish 20 Career races)
  • Trial of the Champions (Requirement: Finish 20 Career races on the podium)
  • The Collector (Requirement: Earn 50 stars in Training)
Nothing Left to Learn
Complete all the Training Sessions with the maximum result
Finishing all 50 training sessions with 3 stars is also part of the Journal Challenges. There are 5 different sets, each with 10 training sessions that become progressively more difficult. That alone can be challenging, but in addition to that we can't repeat them as often as we want. After every championship race we get only 3 trainings. When we run out of attempts we have to race the next Main Event first. So, this trophy will take a while, luckily it doesn't matter if we use a 250 or 450 bike, the difficulty of the tasks stays the same.

The five categories are:
  • The Lion - Short racing scenarios where we have to finish 1st, probably the easiest set.
  • The Surgeon - We have to perform jumps as close as possible to the visible flow indicator.
  • The Snake - Drive through green, yellow and red gates to score points in a given time limit. In later stages we must not miss more than a single green gate, otherwise 3 stars are out of reach.
  • The Lightning - Time trials where we have to complete a number of checkpoints before the timer runs out.
  • The Showman - Perform Whips or Scrubs in designated areas. Whips need a certain degree for 3 points, while Scrubs aren't allowed to even scratch the yellow or red bar.

Round Number
Reach the podium in 100 Main Events in any mode
Similar to "Overcome" we should be able to reach 100 podiums with ease during all the seasons we have to participate in until we cleared all Journal Challenges. 30 of these podiums have to be done in Multiplayer for the SX Challenge "The King".

To complete all Journal Challenges we need to win a lot of races and championships. You're going to reach level 150 with ease. Therefore this trophy pops naturally as we make progress.
"Check"
Complete all challenges in the Journal
This is it. The one trophy that helps you to make the decision whether you want this platinum or not. Journal Challenges can only be completed in Career Mode and unlock after we completed the Futures chapter. Make sure to set the event length to "The Real Thing" right at the start of the Rookie chapter. Here is a quick overview of all the things we need to do:
  • 100 successful Scrubs - To perform a Scrub, move both sticks in different directions right before or after a jump (unlocks Master of the Scrubverse).
  • 100 successful Whips - To perform a Whip, move both sticks in the same direction right before or after a jump.
  • 200 Jumps - Happens naturally.
  • 3500 Seconds in the Air - Happens naturally.
  • 20 Perfect Starts - Hit the gas at the exact moment when the starting gate drops.
  • 50 Races Completed - Happens naturally.
  • 50 Qualifying Session Won - This is one of the reasons we need "The Real Thing". Just post a fastest lap and end the session.
  • 50 Heats Won - This is the other reason for "The Real Thing". Heats are short races, taking place between Qualifying and Main Event.
  • 50 Standard Events Completed - Happens naturally.
  • 10 Completed Workout Sessions - Can be found in the SUpercross Park (next to Trainings and Coach challenges). They are only available at the start of a new season or if an injury occurs. For a session to be counted as successful we have to complete 3 tasks, 2 random ones and one where we have to collect 5 letters for the word "SHAPE". All of them within 3 minutes. In my playlist you'll find a video showing 10 examples for Workouts.
  • 10 East/West Showdowns Won - Showdowns are exclusive to the 250 championships. They are held every season in Atlanta and Salt Lake City. So we need at least 5 250 seasons for this.
  • 200 Overtakings - Happens naturally.
  • 50 Abilities Unlocked - Ability points are a reward for every Training star, Coach Quest and completed Journal Challenge.
  • 10 Sponsor Contracts - Twice a season we can pick a team or decide to race as privateer and sign with a sponsor instead. This means we have to play 5 seasons in which we have to sign a new sponsor at every opportunity.
  • 10 Official Team Contracts - This is mutually exclusive to the challenge above, which means we have to play at least 10 seasons.
  • 10 Official Outfits Unlocked - To unlock an outfit we need to complete the contract objective of the team we signed with. Keep this challenge in mind, when you select Teams for the challenge above.
  • 50 Training Sessions Completed - Is included in the next challenge.
  • 150 Training Stars Achieved - This is Nothing Left to Learn.
  • 100 Laps Without Rewind - Just don't press during races.
  • 100 Laps Without Falls - When you completed the challenge above, you can use rewinds to complete laps without falling a lot easier.
  • 20 Victories vs. Rivals - Rivals are exclusive to the 450 Championship. A season consists of 17 races, that means we need at least two seasons in the 450 class. If you win all 17 rivalries in the first season, you can return to the 250 class and beat the 3 missing rivals in season 11, because everything else is a lot quicker in 250 championships.
  • 310 Miles Covered - Happens naturally.
  • 100 Weeks Completed - Happens naturally.
  • 1 Million Credits Obtained - Happens naturally.
  • 80 Bike Setup Changes - Please refer to Tinkerer.
  • 50 Holeshots - Holeshots are possible in Heats and Main Events. They are given to the rider who crosses the short white line in or after the first turn.
  • 7 Championships Won - We need to win at least one 250 and one 450 championship for the respective chapter trophies. After that, pick 250 East for the other 5 championships, because it is the shortest one.
  • 25 Coach Quests Completed - Adept.
This will take a lot of time. If you already unlocked the SX challenge "The King", Filled with Determination should unlock at the same time you complete the final challenge.
