Step 1 - Online Mode
The servers are mostly deserted so you should look for a friend to do this with. You don't need to know
anything about the game to get the only trophy tied to this mode. Just play 10 races or mini-games. If you
do this before starting career mode you're probably going to earn two more trophies without even trying.
Couldn't Have Drifted Better Myself
Drift 5000 meters
Early in the story, at the drift tutorial, you can already farm the 5000 meters, but
there is no point in doing this, because it will accumulates automatically through the game.
Hop Upington
Jump 100 times
By pressing
, we make the
car jump. Don't worry about this, it should pop naturally after some races.
New Challengers
Play 10 races or mini-games in Play With Everyone
From the title screen, select “Play With Everyone.” By finishing ten online races in
this mode, no matter whether you win or lose, the trophy becomes ours.
Step 2 - Story Mode
Story Mode is where we have to get every other trophy. We need to play through the story, do some sidequests,
collect a lot of stuff and complete some miscelleanous tasks.
A Charismatic Mentor
Receive your first Checkered Flag in Story mode
We earn our very first checkered flag by winning the opening race against Clutch
Racington.
Heat Seeker
Hit opponents with missiles 15 times
Missiles are one of the most common items. They home in on the target, so firing
them on a straight section nearly always secures a hit. This trophy highly likely unlocks naturally
while
racing.
Cruising Big Butte County
Drive around in Big Butte County in Story mode
After completing the opening race plus two side activities, we unlock access to Big
Butte. Driving around there for a short time awards the trophy.
Brick Separator
Destroy 1000 objects
This is another trophy that unlocks naturally while exploring the open world and
collecting stuff. Nearly everything can be destroyed by driving right through it.
Cruising Prospecto Valley
Drive around in Prospecto Valley in Story mode
Later in the story we gain entry to Prospecto Valley. Simply moving around in this
zone registers the trophy.
Big Butte Champion
Beat the Big Butte Grand Brick Arena race in Story mode
Story-related. When we qualify for the Grand Brick Arena in Big Butte and win, we
unlock its trophy.

Complete all chapters of the Go-Kart tutorial in the Garage
Inside any garage, we can start the tutorial. By completing the full “Build Go Kart”
course, we unlock the trophy.
Sidewalk Hog
Punt 200 pedestrians into the air
Hitting pedestrians launches them upward. It should pop naturally while you're
exploring the open world.
All Perked Up
Collect 10 perks
Perks are earned as rewards for races and missions. That means we earn it
automatically while playing through the story.
Cruising Hauntsborough
Drive around in Hauntsborough in Story mode
Hauntsborough becomes available further into the campaign, and once we drive there
briefly, the corresponding trophy unlocks.
Prospecto Champion
Beat the Prospecto Valley Grand Brick Arena race in Story mode
Story-related. At some point we have earned enough checkered flags to challenge the
Grand
Brick Arena of Prospecto Valley. Win it.
Road Hog
Destroy 200 traffic vehicles
Any standard traffic car we bump into is destroyed immediately. This occurs so often
that the trophy is should come without extra effort while exploring.
Free Banana Smoothies
Discover all the Garages in the world in Story mode
There are 14 garages across all maps, marked with a red wrench. (1 in Turbo Acres, 5
Big Butte, 4 Prospecto Valley, 4 Hauntsborough.) They count as discovered when we get near them.
Crystal Clear
Mow down all weed patches in the world in Story mode
Completing the “Weed Rangling” quest (Big Butte) unlocks the Weed Chopper 5000. With
it, we have to mow down all weed patches: 1 in Turbo Acres, 20 in Big Butte, 20 in Prospecto, 18 in
Hauntsborough. You'll find a video in my playlist dedicated to this trophy.
Folk Hero
Complete all quests in the world in Story mode
There are 20 missions total, indicated by a green icon with an exclamation mark: 8
in Big Butte, 6 in Prospecto Valley, 6 in Hauntsborough. Finishing them all unlocks this trophy.
Higher Orbit
Spin 1080 degrees in the air without using a jetpack
In the settings, we can disable "Automatic Transformation". Using the “Justa Plane
Truck” (story unlock), we gain enhanced aerial control. Performing three full spins in the air and
landing will grant the trophy. Alternatively you can use one of the bats during the mission "Gone
Batty!" and spin around while you are attached to one of them.
Jet-Setter
Find all the jetpacks in Big Butte County in Story mode
Completing the quest “Crashlanding” activates Jetpack markers around the map. There
are 12 available and they are needed to access certain collectibles.
Roadshow Ready
Find all the Collectables in Big Butte County
To finish the Big Butte collectible trophy, we must gather specific hidden
collectibles in that region, 15 Silver Sprockets, 15 Experimental Batteries, 25 Golden Trophies and 50
Rainbow Bricks. In addition we need to obtain all 12 Rocket Jetpacks that we need for Jet-Setter
anyways. You'll find a video for
this trophy in my playlist as well.
Honk Means Hello
Talk to 150 folk
Certain NPCs have word bubbles above them. Talking to 150 different NPCs by pressing
L3
unlocks the trophy. This is repetitive, but worth noting is, that rivals near race markers give both XP
and
money when spoken to.
Rotor-Coaster
Find all the rotorpacks in Prospecto Valley in Story mode
The mission “Rotorhead” unlocks Rotorpacks, with 11 in total. These allow us to
reach otherwise inaccessible parts of Prospecto Valley. You'll find all of them in my video for
Prospecto Valley collectables.
XPerienced
Get to Level 30 in Story mode
XP is gained for nearly every action: Racing, finding collectibles, completing
events and missions. If you plan on getting the platinum you'll reach this level automatically.
Township Treasurer
Find all the Collectables in Prospecto Valley
For Prospecto Valley, the requirements for its collectables trophy are similar. Here
we need to pick up 15 Copper Kittens, 15 Lost Carrots, 15 Wagon Wheels, 25 Stashed Treasures, 50 Gold
Nuggets and all 11 Rotorpacks. This region has its own video in my playlist as well.
You BREAK Stuff!
Destroy 15000 objects
We automatically smash objects everywhere. 15.000 aren't as much as it sounds. This
should pop naturally while collecting everything.
Hauntsborough Champion
Beat the Hauntsborough Grand Brick Arena race in Story mode
After gaining 24 checkered flags, we qualify for the Hauntsborough Grand Brick
Arena. Winning that event unlocks its trophy.
Bat-Buds
Find all the batpacks in Hauntsborough in Story mode
Completing the story mission “Gone Batty!” enables Batpacks, 11 in total, which work
similar to the rotorpacks and jetpacks from the previous regions.
Paranormal Procurer
Find all the Collectables in Hauntsborough
In Hauntsborough, we need to collect 15 Golden Spiders, 15 Hero's Journeys, 25 Batty
Breakfasts, 50 Smashing Pickups and all 11 Batpacks. The penultimate video of my playlist shows all
locations.
The Pit Crew
Collect 15 new drivers
New drivers are unlocked through races, missions, or buying them from the shop.
What's This Button Do?
Use every type of power-up at least once
The game includes eight different power-ups. Two (Warp and Brick Wheels) are only
available when we're in last or second-to-last place. Using all of them is enough, we don't have to hit
anyone with them.
Just the Start
Collect 50 new vehicles
Vehicles are obtained by progressing through the story, claiming wins, or purchasing
them with in-game currency from the shop.
The Golden Ending
Earn a Gold Medal in every On-the-Go event in the world
Across the game there are 78 “On-the-Go” events. These mini-challenges involve
drifting, checkpoint runs, landing on targets or other special obejctives. Their distribution is: 2 in
Turbo Acres, 26 Big Butte,
25 Prospecto, 25 Hauntsborough. If you need help to find and/or beat them, you can find them at the end
of my collectible related videos of each area.
It Used To Work
Wreck 100 times
After playing through the story and collecting everything, this trophy may still be
missing. To speed this up, we can intentionally let hostile skeletons destroy us at a farm in
Hauntsborough or crash into the painted tunnel in Big Butte County.
Missile Misser
Avoid 50 missiles by jumping over them in races
When an incoming missile targets us, a warning icon appears. Pressing jump
at the right moment avoids the hit. With a
second controller, this is much easier to obtain. Just park the second controller near a weapon spawn
and the first one a few meters away to give you enough time to react to the incoming missiles.
3K Drive
Drive 3000 miles (4828 km)
Please refer to 6K Drive.
6K Drive
Drive 6000 miles (9656 km)
This trophy requires driving a total of 6000 miles. No there is no mistake, they
really mean it. Each track is only 2–3 km
wide, so this is a long grind. However there is an AFK method the works really well with a boat or car.
All you need to set this up is a shoestring or something similar. Head to a garage and select to test
drive any fast car/boat. Once you are in the test area you need to build some speed and start drifting
in a large circle. Tie

and the left stick together so that your vehicle keeps up your drift.
When you're confident that the vehicle doesn't crash into a wall, leave the game running and do
something more mindful :)
Sky Cup Champion
Beat the Sky Cup Grand Prix race in Story mode
After winning all three regional Grand Brick Arenas (Big Butte, Prospecto,
Hauntsborough), the Sky Cup Grand Prix becomes accessible. Winning that tournament unlocks its trophy
and finishes the story.
Tastes Like Platinum
Earn all trophies in the game
