Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

Trophy Guide & Roadmap

If you prefer to watch a video instead of reading the guide, feel free to do so. There is a playlist that covers every trophy on my YouTube channel. If you'd like and subscribe or even become a member, it would mean a lot to this channel!

Step 1 - Trainings

In this step we learn the basics of a Quidditch game and get introduced to all 4 positions we can play in.

Look! Mum Made You a Sweater!
Customize a character in your roster
When we get to select our first chaser, we need to pick a different one than the first to unlock this trophy
Bottle Fame
Complete a Career Challenge
After selecting our chaser, you can adjust his/her hairstyle or skin color. Doing so will complete the challenge "Polyjuice Potion" and pop this trophy.
Up!
Complete Chaser Training
Chaser Training is the first tutorial of this game. Just do all the things Ginny tells you to do.
The Keeper, That's Me...
Complete Keeper Training
After the first game as a chaser, we get the opportunity to tell the game "I'm ready to learn more". Doing so leads us to the Keeper training. Our coach for this session is going to be Ron. The trophy unlocks when all steps of this tutorial have been completed.
The Porskoff Ploy
Assist a goal by shovel-passing to a teammate shortly before they score
This can already be done in one of the early practice matches or later in one of the many tournaments. To make a shovel pass we need to move the right stick to the right and press at the same time. Sometimes simply passing with also counts as a shovel pass. If one of the chasers catches the ball and scores a goal with it the trophy unlocks shortly after.
You'd Make a Fair Beater
Complete Beater Training
After our second practice game, we get the chance to participate in the Beater Training. The Weasley twins will explain the basic controls and tasks as a Beater. Complete all the steps and this trophy is yours.
Brilliant, but Scary
Eliminate the opposing Beater without getting hit by a Bludger
We can unlock this during the practice match right after the Beater Training. Just focus on the red Beater, highlighted by an X icon over his head, and hit him twice with the bludger.
The Youngest Seeker in a Century
Complete Seeker Training
This trophy is our reward for completing the fourth and final tutorial. It takes place after the practice match as a Beater. Harry will tell us all we need to know to become a decent Seeker. Complete all objectives and then you're almost ready to go.
Constant Vigilance!
Catch a Snitch without getting hit by a Bludger
The seeker practice match is a good opportunity for this. In general this trophy is a little luck based, but it is highly unlikely that you get hit during the practice match. At least way more unlikely than in every other game.
Roderick Plumpton’s Protégé
Catch a Snitch in less than 120 seconds
This is going to happen naturally while playing the game. You'll rarely need more than two minutes to catch a Snitch.

Step 2 - Cups

After learning all the basics, it's time to play some cups and full matches.

It's Not Much, but it's Home!
Complete The Burrow Cup
After the final training session (Seeker Training) we are going to play our first full match. Just win it and the trophy unlocks.
Knock on Wood
Get an assist by stunning the enemy Keeper shortly before a goal
The time window for this is rather small. We need to be a Beater and wait for our team being close to the goal and hit the keeper with a bludger right before our team scores. It might take multiple tries because we have to rely on our chasers to be accurate.
Rough Game, Quidditch. Brutal!
Win a game of Quidditch without conceding any points
The lowest difficulty is recommended for winning a game without conceding points. As beater we can force fumbles and keep the opposing seeker away from the snitch which makes it a bit easier. If you manage to do it in your first full game after finishing the Burrow Cup, you’ll earn Everyone Starts at the Beginning at Hogwarts along with it.
Everyone Starts at the Beginning at Hogwarts
Win your first game
This can't be achieved in training games or the Burrow cup against the Weasleys. But right after finishing the Burrow Cup you can earn it in your first full match of the Hogwarts Interhouse Cup.
Hogwarts Hero
Win the Hogwarts Interhouse Cup for the first time
It's the first available cup. The difficulty to unlock this trophy doesn't matter. Bute keep in mind that we have to win the Interhouse Cup on Standard difficulty to unlock the next cup.
It's Not Any Broomstick, it's a Nimbus 2000
Upgrade a broom to max level
To fully upgrade a broom we need 200 moonstones. Moonstones are rewarded for increasing our career level. If we don’t spend them until after the Hogwarts Cup, we should have enough by then.
Role-Star
Earn a Platinum medal for each role
Platinum medals are rewarded during a game and appear on the left side of the screen. You'll get one if you do one the following actions:
  • Chaser - Score 5 goals in a single game.
  • Beater - Knock out the opposing Keeper 5 times in single game.
  • Seeker - Catch 2 Snitches in a single game. There are only 2 Snitches per game, they always appear at the 5 and the 2 minute mark.
  • Keeper - Save 7 goals in a single game. The higher the difficulty the more shots you likely have to save during a game.
Once you earned all of these 4 medals at least once, the trophy should pop.
I've Always Wanted to Use That Spell
Max out skill points in a single role
Maxing out skill points for a single role isn’t as tedious as it seems. Each role can only receive a maximum of 10 upgrades. We receive skill points for increasing our career level.
Mischief Managed
Stun a Player while they are highlighted for a score event
This trophy requires a little unsportsmanlike conduct. Wait until an opponent scores a goal and tackle him with right after it. This can be done as chaser or beater.
I Want a Nice, Clean Game
Play 5 PVP Matches
Unlocks automatically while going for Don’t Go Making Friends with the Wrong Sort….
Don’t Go Making Friends with the Wrong Sort…
Win 5 Games of Quidditch While in a Party
You can either invite someone to your party by pressing or by opening your friends list by pressing the Touchpad. Winning 5 games while being in a party is be online only. Offline matches don’t work. While going for 5 online victories, I Want a Nice, Clean Game unlocks along the way.
Triwizard Titan
Win the Triwizard Quidditch Cup for the first time
To unlock the Triwizard Cup we need to win the Hogwarts Interhouse Cup on Standard difficulty. To move on to the world cup afterwards it is recommended to win the Triwizard Cup on Advanced difficulty. It consists of a group stage where we have to play both of the other teams twice. The two best teams will then face each other in the final game.
Tutshill Tornado
Win 25 games of Quidditch
Playcaller
Save a shot on goal from a Chaser you recently debuffed
First of all we need to fully upgrade the teamwork abilities of our keeper for this, which costs 6 skill points. In the game, wait until an opposing chaser flies towards you and put some of the Playmaker rings in his way by pressing . The time window is pretty small, so it may take some tries. Expert difficulty is recommended for this.
World Cup Wonder
Win the World Cup for the first time
The World Cup is the final tournament of the career. It unlocks after winning any tournament on Advanced difficulty and consists of six games. Playing on Expert difficulty is recommended to unlock Champion difficulty, which we need for Quidditch is Easy Enough to Understand.
A Superb Keeper!
Save a goal with your Power Save
Before attempting this we need to upgrade the attack skill of our keepers to at least level 2. We have to charge the kick by holding before hitting the Quaffle and release just before our keeper would normally catch it.
Quidditch is Easy Enough to Understand
Win any Cup on Champion difficulty
To get this trophy we need to unlock the Champion difficulty first. This is achieved by winning the World Cup on Expert difficulty first. Winning a tournament on Champion difficulty isn’t as hard as it sounds. Just focus on scoring points as Chaser and catching the Snitch as Seeker.
Brew Glory
Complete a Mastery Challenge for each role
It should unlock together with Role Star but many people have to complete 4 different masteries, which means 1 of our platinum medals will count. Below is are examples for those:
  • Beater - 10 Bat Tackles in total.
  • Seeker - Use the Focus 20 times on the Snitch in total.
  • Chaser - Score 200 goals in total.
  • Keeper - Earn 1 Platinum medal.
Chasers With Extra Responsibilities
Intercept a shot on your goals
This one may take a couple tries, we have to intercept a shot on our goal as a Chaser. A good strategy is to stay next to the opponent and tackle right in front of him as soon as he shoots.
"E" for Exceeds Expectations
Reach level 50 in your Career
The fastest way to level up is by winning games on Champion difficulty. For me the trophy unlocked at level 45 which also unlocks the final legendary ingame reward.
Quidditch Champion
Win 100 Games of Quidditch
Wins are cumulative and can be earned online as well as offline.
Yer a Wizard, Harry!
Earn all Trophies
