Step 1 - Ashes Mode
The Ashes is one of the biggest rivalries in cricket, played between England and Australia. It all started
back in 1882 after Australia beat England on their own turf, and a cheeky newspaper declared English cricket
had “died”, with its ashes to be taken to Australia. Since then, the two nations have been battling it out
in a Test series every couple of years. The prize is a tiny little urn, but the bragging rights are massive.
The Ashes isn’t just about cricket. It’s tradition, drama, and serious national pride rolled into one.
In this mode we can earn 4 different trophies. A second controller is highly recommended.
We're Gonna Have A Bowl
Win the toss and bowl first in an Ashes test
Play as Australia so you can choose between Tails and Heads at the coin toss. It's
recommended to pick Tails to start working on Tails Never Fails. In case England wins the toss,
quit out, reload and pick Heads.
Tails Never Fails
Win the toss 25 times selecting Tails
This can be unlocked anytime. If you want to get it quickly, you can do the
following: When you win your first toss with Tails, select Bat or Bowl and quit out of the match. After
re-entering the match, pick Tails again and you'll win automatically. Repeat this process until the
trophy unlocks.
Runs On The Board
Score a run in any game mode
Unlocks naturally while playing the game.
Captain's Pair
Get the opposition captain out for a duck (0 runs) in both innings of any Test
match in Ashes Mode
We can simplify this trophy by using two controllers. It does not
matter which side we choose, we can play as Australia with the second controller on
England. Pat Cummins is the Australian captain and Ben Stokes the English captain. Adjust the lineup
before starting the game and put your opposing captain in the first position.
At the coin toss, if our main controller wins, we select to bowl first. If the secondary controller
wins, we select to bat first. Once play begins, move the batsman away from the stumps with the Right
Stick of the second
controller. Using the main controller, aim at the stumps and score a Wicket to force a
dismissal.
After that declare the inning with your second controller. To do so, open the options menu -> Tactics ->
Declare. Repeat this process in the second inning.
A Team Effort
Win an Ashes Series playing as a team, without simulating, in Ashes Mode
To get this trophy we need to win three matches. With two controllers it's just a
matter of minutes. We always want to bowl first. After that do the following:
- Move the batter and score a Wicket.
- Declare the inning.
- Score a run by either hitting the ball or throwing a wide ball with your second controller.
- Declare the inning.
- Again, move the batter and score a Wicket.
- Declare the inning.
This way your team should win. If the trophy doesn't unlock after the third win, open the scorecard of
Game #3 in the calendar.
Batter Up!
Have a batting partnership reach 250 runs in a Test match in Ashes Mode, without
simulating
For this trophy it’s important that we
play as a full team and not as a star player. Make sure to bat first. With the difficulty set to the
easiest level, use
the aggressive shot

to hit sixes with the
opening batsmen. This method allows us to score at a
very fast pace. If we happen to mess up and let our opponents score a wicket, immediately quit the
match, before the ball is caught. After reloading, the game resumes
from just before the hit, allowing us to continue as if it never happened.
Step 2 - Single Tournament & Play Now Trophies
During this step we're going to take care of all trophies tied to special tournaments and collect two more
trophies in Play Now. A second controller is highly recommended for every tournament trophy of this step,
too.
Tropical Splash!
Dismiss a team for fewer than 100 runs in a T20 match in the CPL or WCPL
From the main menu, scroll down once and locate
the CPL competition. Start a CPL tournament, pick your preferred team, and place the two
controllers on opposing sides. At the toss, we want to bowl first. If we lose the toss, we use the
second controller to choose batting.
Once on the field, we line up the delivery and aim for the stumps until the aiming icon
turns blue. This almost guarantees either a Wicket and therefore a dismissal for the batsman. To make it
even easier, we
can move the opposing batter completely away from the stumps with the second controller, while still
aiming directly at them. Repeat this process for all 10 batsmen.
Chor Bowling
Bowl 5 overs in an Indian T20 match conceding fewer than 15 runs
To make things as simple as
possible, we keep the difficulty set to the easiest setting. We set up two controllers and select Indian
T20 from the menu, ensuring the second
controller is on the opposing side. Once the match begins, make sure to bowl first with your main
controller.
Use the first controller to bowl slightly wide of the batsman, keeping the delivery away
from the stumps so it doesn't end up hitting them. As long as the aiming circle is green, almost any
safe delivery works,
preferably a straight ball that stays out of reach. Repeat this method for five overs.
Bash Down The Stumps
Bowl a batter out with a Fast Bowler in the BBL or WBBL
Begin a BBL or WBBL match from the main menu. Our main controller must bowl first,
which guarantees that
we can open with a fast bowler. Use the Right Stick on the second controller to move the batsman away
from the stumps. We then aim directly at the stumps and deliver a fast ball with

, which should bowl the batsman
out with little effort.
Smashed It!
Hit a six in the Super Smash
From the main menu, scroll along the row of competition logos until we reach the
Super Smash, which sits at the end of the second row. Select this mode and play as a star player,
choosing a
strong batsman such as Kane Williamson. Press

for an aggressive hit and hammer the ball into the stands. This trophy requires only one successful hit.
A Hundred of the Best
Score 100 runs in a match with a single player in The Hundred
Just start a game of The Hundred and select Joe Root as your player. He will
automatically bat first if your team wins the coin toss. Once again, aggressive hits should do the
trick.
Super Skilled
Bowl 6 dot balls in a single over in a PSL match on Hardest difficulty
A dot ball is any delivery that results in zero runs being scored. From the main
menu, choose the PSL, start a tournament, and
play the very first match. We assign one team to each controller and edit the match settings to set the
difficulty to Hardest.
At the toss, our main controller should bowl first. When bowling, make sure to hit the green zone on the
meter both times while pressing

. With the second
controller, we press

for a defensive hit just
before the ball reaches
the batter. This prevents the batsman from getting out while still stopping any runs from being scored.
Repeat this for all six deliveries to unlock the trophy at the end of the over.
Catches Win Matches
Take 5 wickets with catches in a single innings
Choose a Test match so that we avoid time
pressure and fielding restrictions. Our main controller controls the bowling side. From the pause menu,
under Tactics, open the field editor and place fielders in the following positions:
- Mid On
- Mid Off
- Deep Mid On
- Deep Mid Off
- Straight On
- Straight Off
- Long On
- Long Off
- Wide Off
With the bowling controller, move the marker back so the standard delivery becomes short. Using the
second controller, we swing early so the shot goes high into the air without clearing
the boundary by pressing

. We leave the default
shot aim untouched, since the ball will naturally travel toward the
areas our fielders are covering. When the ball heads towards a fielder, a catch circle appears on
screen. Guide the left stick into the
circle and confirm with

to complete the play.
Repeating this sequence 5 times eventually
secures the trophy.
Cricket Twenty Fours
Score 20 fours in a single match
This can be done against the AI set to Easiest. Start a Test match, which gives us
plenty of overs to work with. Our goal is to bat
first. Aim your shot in the same leg-side direction and then keep playing normal hits with

to avoid scoring sixes.
Repeat this process until we have scored 20 fours in total. The runs can be collected across multiple
batsmen, so we do not need to rely on a single player to complete the trophy.
Step 3 - Multiplayer & Competition Mode
Luckily there is only one online trophy in this game and it's not difficult to obtain. Just play 6
matches
against anyone. Win or lose doesn't matter. We don't need to play any other match during this step,
because each trophy of the other trophies can be earned by simulating.
You can be Max
Use the Player Creator to name a custom player 'Max'
Just open the Player Creator, create a new player and name him Max.
Ping!
Play 6 matches Online
The game supports Cross-Play, which means you can play against friends on Xbox
and PS4. Just play and finish 6 matches to unlock this trophy. If you want to go that way, you can
ask a friend to quit 6 games against you to be a lot faster.
Touring Party
Complete a Test match in Tour Mode
From the main menu, select Tour and create a new tour. We then choose to play a
match and pick either team to load into the
game. After the coin toss, pause to access the Simulate option. When setting up the simulation,
turn off the “Stop after overs/runs” toggle and set “Stop at wicket/session” to No. Then, simulate
straight to the end of the
match.
Subcontintental
Complete an Indian T20 League match in Competition Mode
Pops automatically while working on Not Beleaguered!.
Cup Holder
Win any official tournament in Competition Mode
The PSL tournament is the fastest way due to the small number
of matches and teams. We start by selecting PSL from the main menu and choose a strong teamlike the
Lahore Qalandars. The group stage covers ten matches per team. We can simulate all group matches.
For playoff games, you can use two controllers to guarantee
victory or simulate those two. If you choose to simulate, make sure to start the final game and
simulate it after the coin toss.
Not Beleaguered!
Play a match in every official tournament in Competition Mode
Just do what you did for
Touring Party for every competition. All
competitions for this trophy can be found in the second row of the main menu. Competeitions we need
to play in:
- The Hundred Men
- The Hundred Women
- BBL
- WBBL
- Indian T20
- Women's Indian T20
- CPL
- WCPL
- PSL
- Super Smash Men
- Super Smash Women
Step 4 - Career Mode
This is by far the most time consuming step on our way to our new platinum trophy.
Signed Up
Accept a contract offer in Career Mode
Just start a new career. The trophy pops after signing with the first team.
Shabash!
Get selected in the Indian T20 League Auction in Career Mode
This would take hours if you're attempting it with a rookie player. To save yourself
from that, start a new career with the existing player Steve Smith and simulate for about 10 minutes
thorugh the season. He is so good that he'll get drafted automatically.
Just Enough Bat
Score a boundary by edging the ball
This is not specifically a career mode trophy. But during the career with our rookie
player, we come across the easiest way to achieve this trophy. During the first couple of games, you
just need to watch your batting teammate instead of skipping his turns. He'll eventually hit the ball
with the edge of his bat and score runs to unlock the trophy.
Making The Bap
Earn 200 Batting or Bowling Ability Points on a single player in Career Mode
Just finish the first two games of the rookie career with 80+ runs and the trophy
should unlock once your back at your calendar.
Average Performance
Have a Test batting average above 50 in Career Mode after playing more than 5
Test
matches
At the beginning of our rookie career, we can choose which country we want to
represent. Choosing England gives us the opportunity to pick a county which we can represent a bit later
in First Class Games. Even though they aren't Tests, they count for this trophy. Until you get an invite
from the county team, make sure you score 60-80 runs per game until your local team promotes you to be
the captain. After that you can simulate the rest of the tournament. Once the tournament is over, the
county team should offer you a contract. Accept it and score at least 60 runs per game, just to be sure.
Or you score 301 runs in the first game and simulate the rest, because having more than 300 runs is
sufficient for the needed average of 50 runs per game.
Step 5 - Cleanup / Farming
Even though this step consists of just one trophy to work on, it's the most time-consuming of them all.
Over and Over Again
Bowl 500 overs across all game modes
You can create your own game type on the Cricket Academy tab. There aren't many
settings that really matter,
but you can reduce the number of balls per over to 3. Doing so will greatly reduce the time you need
from
here until the platinum trophy. After adjusting that, all you need to do is enter a Play Now game,
select your created game type, start the match and keep bowling until it ends. If you haven't changed
any other setting, you'll be able to bowl 40 overs per game. For those 40 overs you can calculate
roughly 30 minutes. That means bowling 500 overs takes around 6.5 hours in total.
Now, you're probably thinking something like "I got every other trophy, that must have been quite a few
overs". It seems like overs played with two controllers don't count towards this trophy. Just a quick
note before I leave you to bowl in peace, it took me 483 bowls to unlock this trophy after I got all the
other ones. I'd recommend watching movies and/or your favorite TV shows while bowling.
