Each trophy listed below also has an associated video. Multiple trophies have been grouped together within a single video, such as the "Road to Elite" trophies. The full playlist is in Step 1, so if you'd rather watch a video than read the guide, feel free to do so. If you leave a like or even subscribe, it would mean a lot to the channel! :)
Step 1 - Exhibition Matches
Welcome to the Trophy Guide for AEW: Fight Forever. In the first step, all trophies that relate to exhibition mode and do not require a grind are listed. While we're taking care of all these trophies, we should use as many different wrestlers as possible to shorten the final step. There are also videos for all trophies, which can be found in the following YouTube playlist.
Trophies in this step:
Off the Guardrail!
Using the Guardrail Dive Offense skill, land 3 dives from the guardrails in a match
A good wrestler to earn this trophy with, is Kenny Omega. Climb up on the guardrail next to the ring and dive down. He needs to hit his opponent for it to count. This needs to be done three times.
First Win
Defeat a COM opponent for the first time in Exhibition
Unlocks automatically after the first win in Exhibition.
E-Shopper
Make a purchase using AEW Cash
You earn AEW Cash by completing matches and challenges. You can buy various things in the shop. For “Equal Opportunity Players”, the first option is to buy Cody Rhodes or Aubrey Edwards.
Finisher Thief
Using the Gimmick Infringement skill, win a match using the opponent's finisher
We need a wrestler who has got the Gimmick Infringement skill. For example Kenny Omega. The match can be fought normally and once Kenny has enough momentum to perform his signature move, we need to move the right stick to perform a taunt to move Kenny into his "Special" state. Pressing R3 will lead to Kenny performing his opponents' finishing move. If the match is won right afterwards, the trophy will unlock after reentering the main menu.
Dexterous Dervish
Using the Desperation Impulse skill, win a match with a roll-through move
First, we beat up our opponent until we performed our signature and our special move/finisher. In the second part of the match we allow our opponent to do the same to us, so we can enter the "Danger State". Once we're there, all we need to do is to move up the right stick to perform a pin from our back. Orange Cassidy is a good wrestler to do this.
Full Course Beatdown
Win a Singles Match after hitting the opponent with a signature and finisher
You'll likely unlock this trophy automatically while playing the game. However it is recommended to combine it with "Dexterous Dervish" because that works much better with a beatup opponent.
Adept Flyer
Using the Springboard Offense skill, land 5 springboard attacks in a match
Can easily be obtained in a singles match with someone like Kenny Omega. The controls for "Adept Flyer" and "Fearless Rocket" are identical. The only difference between them, is the position of our opponent. Running towards the ropes and pressing + simultaneously will result in springboard attacks if the opponent is in the ring. If he's outside of the ring it will result in tope suicida attacks. For this trophy we need to hit our opponent five times while he is in the ring.
Fearless Rocket
Using the Tope Offense skill, land 2 tope suicida attacks in a match
Can easily be obtained in a singles match with someone like Kenny Omega. The controls for "Adept Flyer" and "Fearless Rocket" are identical. The only difference between them, is the position of our opponent. Running towards the ropes and pressing + simultaneously will result in springboard attacks if the opponent is in the ring. If he's outside of the ring it will result in tope suicida attacks. For this trophy we need to hit our opponent two times while he outside of the ring.
Nice Catch!
Using the Anti-Air Defense skill, catch a dive attack
To catch an opponent in mid-air we just need to press when he/she flies towards us. Waiting outside of the ring for the right moment might be the easiest way but it can also be done inside.
All Shall Cower Before Me
Defeat a COM opponent by submission in Exhibition
This trophy is awarded for winning an Exhibition match by submission. There are several wrestlers with good signature or special moves to do this. MJF for example performs his submission finisher by moving the right stick down.
Belt Collector
Hold a title match in Exhibition and win a belt from a COM champion
Pretty self-explanatory, we just need to pick an exhibition fight against a current champion and win. It's always going to be a championship match as long as we don't change any of the options before the match.
Who Needs Hands?
Using the Sloth Style skill, win a match by pinfall with hands in pocket
We are required to win a match by pinfall with our hands in our pockets. Orange Cassidy is the perfect pick for it as he puts his hands there everytime by pressing R3.
Rope Wizard
Using the Rebound Recoil Attack skill, land 2 recoil attacks in a match
Jon Moxley is the perfect pick for this, because he possesses both Recoil Attack skills. To unlock this trophy it's recommended to pick "Hangman" Adam Page as the opponent. He has a signature move that requires him to whip his opponent to the ropes first, giving us the perfect opportunity to perform recoil attacks by pressing slightly before hitting the rope.
Corner Wizard
Using the Corner Recoil Attack skill, land 2 recoil attacks in a match
Jon Moxley is a good pick for this one again. However it can be a bit annoying against a COM opponent. This works best against lightweight opponents like Jungle Boy or Sammy Guevara, who tend to perform more corner moves than others. Recoil attacks are performed by pressing slightly before hitting the turnbuckle.
Smooth Footwork
Using the Kip-Up skill, recover from the ground 5 times in a match
This is one of the most annoying trophies in this game. We have to use the Kip-Up skill five times in a single match. To use this skill we need to have a signature or special move. With that at hand we must lie on our back and press to get back up. Doesn't sound that bad, right? The key to this is getting to the ground without losing too much momentum to keep the Kip-Up skill. Please refer to the linked playlist to see how it can be obtained rather easily.
KABOOM!
Trigger 3 rope explosions on an opponent during an Exploding Barbed Wire Death
Match in Exhibition
To trigger three rope explosions in an "Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match" all we need to do is pushing our opponent towards the ropes with Irish whips. This can be done with or by grappling with and pressing . Everytime we get an instant replay it'll count towards the trophy.
DANGER: Contents Under Pressure!
Attack an opponent using a barbed wire bat in a Lights Out Match in Exhibition
Another simple trophy. All we need to do is start a Lights Out Match with Jon Moxley, exit the ring and grab a weapon from underneath. With Jon Moxley it will automatically be a barbed wire bat. One strike with it is all it takes to unlock this trophy.
Ring Cleaner
Put 10 wrestlers over the top rope in a Casino Battle Royale Match against all COM
opponents
To eliminate 10 wrestlers in a single Casino Battle Royal we must ensure to be among the starting four. If not, it is recommended to quit out and start a new match again. There are many good choices for this match as long as they have quick strikes. While going for 10 eliminations it is also possible to earn a 7-star rating for this match by performing some signature and special moves along the way and win the match in the end.
Match of the Year
Earn a 7-star match evaluation against a COM opponent in Exhibition
It's recommended to combine this with “Ring Cleaner” but it can also be done in a singles match. If the match is longer than 15 minutes and you keep spamming signature and finishing moves it should also be rated with seven stars.
Watch Your Footing!
Push over a ladder an opponent is on to knock that opponent down in a Ladder Match
All we need to do for this trophy is pushing over a ladder while an opponent is on it. To push a ladder we need to aim towards it with the left stick and press . That's it!
4-Way Dominator
Win a 4-Way Match with all COM opponents on Hard difficulty or higher in Exhibition
4-Way Dominator is the first one of the difficulty specific trophies and probably the most annoying one of them. We need to go to gameplay settings and select the difficulty "Hard" before picking our wrestler. There is no real recommendation as long as he or she is resilient. The match itself is mainly about dealing with the chaos and not getting frustrated with the questionable AI. Waiting for a COM opponent to perform a special move and stealing the pinfall afterwards seems to be the most reliable way.
Beat the Best
Defeat a COM opponent on ELITE difficulty in a Singles Match in Exhibition
This is the second difficulty specific trophy of this game. This time we have to go to gameplay settings and select the difficulty "Elite" before picking our match. It is recommended to use a rather quick wrestler against somebody slow. That gives us a vital advantage when it comes to striking first in every encounter.
Making Their Debut...
Create a Custom Wrestler and complete a Singles Match using them
We must go to the "Custom" tab first. There we can create a new wrestler, a new arena and a new team to our liking. Once everything is created start a match with your new wrestler in your new arena and complete it. The match doesn't need to be won. It will also unlock "Arena Architect".
Arena Architect
Create a Custom Arena and complete a match using it
Please refer to the trophy above.
Promising New Team
Create a Custom Team that includes a Custom Wrestler, and complete a Tag Match
using it
Right after the two trophies above we can start a Tag Team match with the new team and complete this one as well.
Step 2 - Road To Elite
After warming up in Exhibition mode, it's time for the Road to Elite mode. If you want to experience a spoiler-free playthorugh first, don't scroll down any further. If you're looking for the most efficient way to unlock all trophies in this mode, Jade Cargill is your best choice for your first playthrough.
Trophies in this step:
Casual Gamer
Win a minigame within Road to Elite
During the A+ Road to Elite playthrough it is advised to play and win some minigames, so this trophy should unlock right after the first one.
Professional Gamer
Play through 5 different minigames
Can also be earned outside of Road to Elite, but it is recommended to play at least 5 minigames during the A+ playthrough to gather some points.
Shirt Collector
Earn all t-shirts that can be earned in Road to Elite
There are a total of 16 shirts. Every week you can purchase one of them for 500 coins. They don't have to be bought in the same run so don't worry too much if you can't afford one.
Triple Crown
Hold 3 titles simultaneously in Road to Elite
Female wrestlers will have a guaranteed title match in Block 1. If you get lucky and get into block 3B you can win two more titles and unlock this trophy already at the third PPV. Whatever third block you get, make sure to pick the Rampage match in Week 4 to face Ruby Soho for her TBS Title. If you didn't get to 3B, the AEW Championship at the end of Block 4B will be your third title.
Welcome to the Elite!
Earn the AEW World Championship while playing Road to Elite
Can be earned with a male wrestler in the first block after winning the Casino Battle Royal. But it can also be earned in Block 4B no matter if you picked a male or female wrestler.
On The Road to Elite
Complete Road to Elite
Unlocks automatically after the last match of Block 4.
Hall-of-Famer
Earn a career grade of A+ in Road to Elite
Can be done on Normal or even Easy difficulty with Jade Cargill. There are many possible bonus points after the last match, for example for no injuries, all matches won and every championship. Every result above 110.000 points should give you an A+. For a full playthrough with her, please refer to the video for this step.
Food Critic
Select Dining 16 times in a single play-through in Road to Elite
This should be done in a second playthrough as it would cost too many points during the A+ playthrough. It should unlock automatically while going for “Trained to the Max”.
Train to the Max
Perform 30 or more successful Intense Trainings during a single play-through of
Road to Elite
The recommended wrestler for playthrough number two is Chris Jericho because with him Brodie Lee can be unlocked easily. But be aware that he will get kidnapped and therefore lose one full week of training. That means you'll have a maximum of 15 weeks, which means you have to train at least 2 times each week. If the game sends you to Block 3C there will also be a scripted injury. But you can heal this injury if you save the money from your win over Brodie Lee until this point. If you get injured again, you can still go to the hospital, have dinner and start two intense trainings afterwards. There will be an injury risk for the second training. If Jericho talks about pain in his back, quit out of the game before finishing this training session and reload. He'll eventually get the job done and you can move on.
Livin' the Wrestler's Life
Complete Road to Elite 10 times
You can save hours of grinding by quitting out of the game while the final earnings counter is still running. After reloading your game you can finish the run again. Rinse and repeat until the trophy unlocks.
Step 3 - Cleanup/Final Grind
In this final step, all we care about is completing any challenges that may still be open and the 100 singles matches. We should make sure that we have played with each wrestler at least once.
Trophies in this step:
No Feat Too Large
Complete at least 30 challenges
30 challenges are not as many as it seems. Just keep your eyes open to see what daily challenges there are and complete them regularly or play some minigames. Head over to the challenges tab to see which ones are available to you, keep in mind that you have to play a match with each wrestler and 100 singles matches in total anyway.
Equal Opportunity Player
Play through a match with at least 50 AEW Wrestlers
After your 100th exhibition match (not just singles) you'll unlock Owen Hart, he will be wrestler #50 for this trophy if you unlocked Brodie Lee during step 2. Just play a match with every official wrestler of this game.
The King of Harts
Complete 100 total Singles matches in Exhibition
If you're looking for a way to finish 100 Singles matches as quickly as possible, you can use a second controller to finish matches within seconds. Just hit Player 2 with a move and pin him. Repeat this process until you get the trophy. But keep in mind that you have to play a match with 50 different AEW wrestlers, so you should work towards that trophy during these singles matches.
